..we will win it!!
Red shirts may be the key to success in football, British academics have declared.
Teams wearing red have the best records, a study of home results in England since 1945 revealed.
And researchers said this is because it is the colour most associated with male aggression and display – whatever extra resources teams such as the blues of cash-rich Chelsea may now boast.
Dr Russell Hill, part of the research team at Durham University, said: 'In close matches where teams are evenly balanced, we still predict that wearing red could tip the balance between success and failure and the red advantage will still persist.'
And the only time England won the World Cup they changed from wearing white – to red.

There was a similar report a few years ago.
I am a firm believer that the England team should play in red.

Hmmmmm ... how come then that the colour associated with cowardice - YELLOW - is worn by the Brazillians?
Then next comes the BLUE of Italy, the WHITE of Germany, the BLUE of Argentina, the BLUE of Uruguay and then England's RED level with the BLUE of France on 1 win each.
Sometimes the shrinks have theories to fit their own agenda.
I do want to believe this one though.

Well, that assumes everything else is level - mind you Brazil have never employed Kevin Keegan or Graham Taylor as manager, which might give a clue...
