I think it should be Roy Hodgson. He has done amazing things with that club. Just look at what they've gone through to get to the Semi's. All this with, and not meaning this in a derogatory way, quite a small squad of not-so-big players. I'm sure Ancelotti will get it though if he gets the title and FA Cup. What a hard job he has, having some of the best players in the world, and enormous depth to his squad

Louis Van Gaal. He helped Bayern knock out Manchester United in the Champions League

Whatever Fulham have done in Europe should not be accounted for, as it is meant to be based soley on the Premier League. I'd say that McLeish is (well, should be) in prime position for it.
Its meant to be for the most astounding achievement in the Prem. Manure and Chelski should be aiming for winning title. Arsenal and Liverpool should be finishing in the other top 2 places. Man City, Spuds, Everton, Villa - Europe. If one of top for have a shocker, maybe sneak in to champs league. Fulham, Sunderland, West Ham, Bolton, Blackburn, Wigan - Mid table solidarity The mighty Potters - stayed up comfortable, should be a safe by 5/6 points in second season Pompey - always going to struggle second season, maybe just scrape staying up Wolves, Brum, Hull, Burnley - relegation
I think these are realistic groups and expectations. So any that jump up a group or two should be the contenders.

Alex Mcleish - Great job, great results - there hasn't been many matches that I have looked at and thought that they would lose, which is the sign of a competent team. Easy to forget that they came back up this season the way that McLeish has had them playing. Roy Hodgson - should have won last season. Excellent play in Europe, Premier League not always consistent. As "Premier League Manager of the Year" it has to go to McLeish.

Woy or Arry for me. It wont go to Tone because the Moaning Wenger will appeal to the FA complaining that the award should only go to the managers who believe in the beautiful game and his players will surround the FA until the decision is reversed

Was listening in to a conversation at work yesterday between a Liverpool and a Man U fan, and they came up with Hodgson, Pulis, Moyes and McCleish in that order. Both thought their own Managers had under achieved this season.

Redknapp possibly deserves it if Spurs make it to t4.
But a lot of the plaudits would have to go to Rafa. I didn't think anyone could make a team with Mascherano, Gerrard and Torres play that shit. He did his best to get rid of the brilliant Alonso, to avoid playing his £15m 'replacement' and repeatedly put players out of position.
Well done Rafa, I don't think anyone else could have made Liverpool do that shit this season!

Why Woy? He has done worse than last year (so far) but has had an extra year to develop the team.
My vote goes to McLeish for a first season in the Prem (pretty much why I thought TP should have had it last year).

I would say the red head a Birmingham is the one so far, closely followed by Hodgeson. Pulis and McCarty for 3d spot.
