As far as I can see there are no outstanding candidates...Whinger Blue nose and the fat spanish one have all managed to underachieve this season.Ancerlotti just inherited a decent team and I cant think of one decent signing he's made so he's hardly had a tough job....so who is left? Lets hope its not the ginger jock ffs.Must be between Hodgson and 'Arry the media darling. Hodgson for me.

I’d rule out Fergie, Ancelotti, Wenger + Benitez. Mancini also does not qualify.
Pulis is in the bracket for me, along with Moyes, Hodgson and Big Eck. McCarthy will have done a great job if he keeps Wolves up too.
Probably go with Hodgson.

Hodgson is the easy bet.
As much as I hate Brum I can't deny what a good season they've had.
Tones gotta be up there and MM (whose grown on me a lot) as solid contenders.

I don't get why everyone is rimming Woy. Fair enough, they've done very well in Europa, but their Prem performance this season has suffered, whilst TP has bucked the 2nd season trend and it looks like we're on for a finish higher than that of Fulham.
For me it's between TP, McLiesh or Moyes.

I'd give it to Benitez. He's done a great job turning Liverpool into a laughing stock.

It's definitely Woy isn't it. To get to a European Semi Final with a pretty tough draw, the QF of the FA Cup and never be in the shake up at the bottom is some achievement for a club of their size. I like Moyes and Everton are certainly ending the season on a high but being 8th with 5 games to go is hardly outstanding stuff for a club like that is it?
Other than Woy only TP, Mcleish and possibly Macarthy warrant a mention.

Agree with all the names so far. I don't think Pulis and McLeish will get it - their clubs are too unfashionable , plus there has not been that much media attention on their startling success this season. On that basis, I'd go for Moyes unless Woy wins the Europa Cup (unlikely, looking at the final four).

Alex McLeish is the obvious one, otherwise whichever manager finishes fourth if it isn't Rafa. Hodgson has done nothing this year - a mid table finish in the Prem, down from last year, and a half-decent run in Europe, which eventually they'll get knocked out of if they're not to be this most shit side to ever win the EUFA Cup/Europa League.

Fuck me Mikey, I'd take Stoke having a 'half decent' run to the Semi Finals in Europe which involved beating Juventus by scoring 4 goals, beating the German Champions, the Bulgarian Champions, drawing with Roma and beating the Ukranian Champions and current UEFA cup holders! Jesus.

I like Moyes and Everton are certainly ending the season on a high but being 8th with 5 games to go is hardly outstanding stuff for a club like that is it? Maybe not. I just think he's continuing to do a great job there. They've suffered with injuries this season and only have a small squad and after a pretty poor start they've turned it round and had some great results, espeically against the Big 4. I just thing he deserves a mention. Benitez is in the papers again this week saying he needs more money to take Liverpool to the next step yet he's spent fucking hundreds of millions already and the odd exception aside (Torres) he's spunked it up the wall and taken them backwards. I think if Moyes had half the financial clout that Benitez does then they would have a great chance of breaking into the top 4. He's got a great record in the market too. Man City take Wharf off them for 24 mill and he uses it to bring Distin and Heitinga in and still has anoth 15 mill to spend elsewhere on the team!!

McLiesh done well, also Hodgson, Moyes for last 5 months.
It will probably be recognised in the media as the manager of the league winning side, and I guess rightly so.

I'd give it to Benitez. He's done a great job turning Liverpool into a laughing stock. However bad we would like them to be, beating Benfica is no laughing matter.

Agree entirely mate, why the likes of Man City would rather import that coiffured cockwart over someone like Moyes, I'll never know.

I'd say personally, it would be between TP, 'Arry, Moyes, Big Eck or Hodgson.
It will probably go to Ferguson or Ancelotti though to keep them sweet.

McLeish has done a fantastic job but my money is on Hodgson. Although his Premier League position has suffered, he has managed to achieve the quarters of the FA Cup, Semi's of the Europa whilst comfortably surviving with an arguably adequate squad of players (when compared to his accolades).

I think Harry Redknapp will get it if Spurs finish top 4, and Wenger will get it if Arsenal manage to win the league, if not it will go to Woy or McKleish.

It should be between Woy, McLeish or Mick McCarthy.
In reality, if Chelsea win the title, they'll go for Ancelotti.

4 or 5 candidates.
Slightly surprised Allardyce not mentioned though. Done quite well there considering people expected them to be in the relegation mix up.
