TP seems to hint he might if Fuller is rested/unfit... www.stokecityfc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10310~2018298,00.html "If he doesn't play, then Louis will come in for him. The lad has done very well in the reserves this season and he performed well against West Ham."

Nah surely on the bench will be Moult.
A front pairing of Kitson and Tuncay must surely be the way forward, with Mama and maybe even Beattie on the bench?.

might be right Dan (re Beattie) however long (& even medium) term better Moult gets games than Beattie.
only advantage in playing Beattie would be to keep his price high-ish & if he has a stinker that can backfire.

If Tuncay doesn't start , in Fuller's absence, it'll be a pretty clear statement, coming so soon after his recent non-selection at West Ham in similar circumstances.
It's hard to know the context of Pulis' mention of Moult - but, at face value, it does seem to be a pretty broad hint at a Moult start.

His quote does seem to strongly hint that it will be Moult and Kitson (should Ric not be risked). Very interesting!

If he starts infront of Tuncay i shall be seriously pissed off. Don't get me wrong, im all for bringing youth players into the team, especially local lads, but do we really want to see the back of Tuncay ?
I for one certainly do not, i see him as a major part of this club progressing, inspite of what bollocks is spoken on here about him " not that good ", did Etherington really set the world alight in his first season.... ? He was stuck with and thus we reap the rewards of having one of the Premierships best wingers.
I remember last year at the Brit, with the exception of Drogba, Tuncay was the best striker to visit from any other opposition.
He is moody and primadona esque at times yes, but we've put up with Fuller doing it for years, why is he any different ?

The partnership of Tuncay and Kitson was too appalling for words.
Even against a poor Hull team, they couldn't get near the ball and it resulted in extended periods of possession for Hull who were able to build from the back with ease.
I think TP saw enough, never to repeat this mistake.

Just a reminder, Pulis said a similar thing about Shotton ahead of the Burnley game on the opening day. It turned out that Griffin ended up being on the bench ahead of him!

Wouldn't mind seeing Moult, because he will obviously work his bollocks off to prove to the fans and TP that hes worth having in the squad. TP always likes his work horses as well.

I think TP saw enough, never to repeat this mistake. did you see the Man City game where Kitson and Tuncay linked up brilliantly to score the first goal? The performance with them 2 upfront against Hull wasnt even that bad, I think you just have your Sidibe love in glasses on there march4 Tuncay and Kitson for me every time. I think Kitson plays better around better players who like it into feet as he is quite an intelligent footballer. Tuncay can do the chasing and harrying and Kitson can still win a good few flick ons as he showed last week for Fuller. Moult should be brought on after 70 minutes to get a real taste of Premiership football but he wont start I guarantee it

If Moult starts ahead of Tuncay I think it's safe to say his Stoke career is over.

That sounds like Moult in for Fuller, and at the expense of Beattie - but in the 4 not the starting 2. Kitson and Sidibe anyone? ;D
