I know it would take a balls up of balls ups for us to go down, and I'm normally a logical sort of a chap, but even now I can't seem to relax and getting nervous about Hull beating us.
A resounding win at the weekend and I'll stop being such a pessamist and start to chill out a bit. Goooooooooaaaaaarn Stoke!

We're safe. There is no way that Hull, West Ham, Burnley, Wigan or Wolves will reach 40 points

Until there is no chance of us going down, I will not be 100 % comfortable.

All i will say is, i feel a damn site more comfortable than i did before the west ham game! As long as the team keep a positive mindset and works hard we'll be ok!

Absolutely 100% safe without any fears at all.
There is no way on Gods Earth that any of the bottom 4 will get 13 or more points from their remaining games.

Come on lads, we're looking upwards to a possible top half finish. FFS have some belief and faith in our team, they've done us proud so far and will continue to do so until the end of the season.

The biggest price available on us being relegated is the 169/1 on Betfair and there is literally no one interested in backing us. We're safe. The main problem will be keeping the players 'off the beach', although you wouldn't have thought this group of players were like that.

We're safe but, as you say, it'd be a shame if we fizzled out now and limped across the finishing line. Mind you, at £750,000 a place in the Premier League I can well imagine TP will refuse to let the players think they can stroll the remaining seven games games.

If we get 0 points between now and the end of the season, teams that have averaged about 0.8 points per game have to average 2 points per game to overhaul us. Please relax. We're safe.

We are definately safe. It will be nice to enjoy the remaining games with no real pressure. Let's beat last season's tally now...

TP won't let us rest on our laurels, he really wants to beat last years 45 points tally and he will drill that in to the players I am sure of that.
I reckon out of the last 7 games we'll get the following points...
Hull - 3 points Wolves - 1 point Fulham - 1 point Notlob - 3 points Chelsea - 0 points Everton - 1 point Utd - 0 points
So on my reckoning we will get 48 points which would be fantastic and a great acheivement by all involved at the club.

Tbh I can't see Burnley getting another point with the games they've got left. West Ham Will be lucky to get 7 points.
In my mind we've been safe since September.

I agree Cilla - this team will not let up as they will be driven by the 46 point target I have a sneeky feeling we will get a win at Fulham as they will be cream crackered - 4 games in 11 days before they play us and we love mid week night matches ;D

I think you're probably right Cilla - and 48 points would be a fantastic achievement. But I've got a sneaky feeling that we might even beat Fulham - given the number of games their having to play at the moment they'll be knackered. Getting 50 points would be immense. Edit - suffolk you beat me to it.

Statistically very unlikely we could go down form where we are BUT,
not mathematically impossible yet
still -Im smiling - last saturday was a great result for stoke (even though, we STILL tried to 'balls it up' by not keeping the ball away from our goal)
nobody ever heard of 'keep ball' in our team ?

I was comfortable on 36 points. me too at 39 points I've got my bermuda's on ;D when you also consider that Hull still have to play Burnley - we can afford to put our feet up, wait for the world cup and then post all day long about which players Pulis should buy to "push us onto the next level" next season

I think we have to aim for 10th place, its tight between us blackburn and fulham - it can be our little mini title.
