Top bloke.. rightly said that if Messi had scored Fuller's goal yesterday the media would be talking about it for months, when the host kept asking about poor defending being the fault he completely disagreed and again rightly said that he'd been doing it for seasons and that Ric was so unpredictable "even he doesn't know what he's doing".
Hope Blackpool get promoted this year just to see him in the Prem.

It's outrageous the amount of shite that's been spouted about what crap defending it was. It was all they could talk about on the stream I was watching.
Then during the Liverpool game this afternoon the commentator described Torres' fluke as "the best goal of the weekend".
Idiots.

Agree with above sentiments - Holloway never seems to have a bad word to say about us! He could have made much more of certain incidents at the Brit, lke when his goalie was struck by an object, and another match when something was nicked from the away changing room, but chose to play them down. He's doesn't take himself or football too seriously which is a refreshing change from the whinging twats in the Prem (excluding TP!). I sincerely hope Blackpool do it, he would be great in the Prem! Blackpool seem to take the piss in most of their home games, so I reckon they've got a helluva chance. Not only all that but I really miss going to Bloomfield Road!

I used to live in Plymouth when he was manager he was a top bloke, Used to ee him havin a drink on the quay side fair often, he would come join us for a pint and some footy banter. Absolute legend, canna fault him' he loved devon, wante buy a resturat there. but the fans had a witch hun n fooked him off, was glad see blackpool beat em yesterday. Gave a us a good run in the 1st half in th cup. I can think of another manager argyle fucked off just prior to holloway, not to clever to follow super tone and holloway with wanky sturruck and marriner

Ian's a Bristol legend. Don't want to waste your time with lots of stories about him but I'll give you one ... my brother supports Oldham and one time they were playing Ian's QPR .... Ian had a right go at his own team for time wasting ... my brother wrote to him (on firm's paper by accident) 'cos he was impressed by his honesty and wanting to play the game as it should be played. A week later my brother got a call at work and it was Ian to thank him ... half an hour later they had to stop taling football and get back to work !!! Great father, bit of an idiot at times but a top bloke ... that goes for my brother as well.

I think we have to face the fact that even if Ric's goal had equalled the brilliance of maradona's second v England in 1986, the press still wouldn't give us the credit we deserve. In all fairness, it's what spurs us on, players and fans alike.

It was bad defending, but it was Ricci that made them look bad.
