...goalkeeping coach at Bury.
Good to see him back in football. He will link up with Rooney at Gigg Lane

Can you imagine him coaching them on how to do deal with crosses?
"OK lads, what you do is whenever you see a ball fly into the box from out wide, crouch into the foetal position in the goal and hope it goes away. For extra notes see this video I've compiled of when Steve Simonsen plays in goal with a defence containing Leon Cort"

Cuts was down at the Academy games at the Michelin last Saturday.
He brought in a trialist keeper he has been coaching with a view to Stoke having a look at him as a perspective scholar for next season.
He is also doing some work as a football agent and has been invited in to talk to Stoke Academy players about the pitfalls of engaging certain types of football agents at an early age.
Players are allowed to engage agents by FA rules after the Christmas period in the Under 16s age group. Stoke have been concerned about agents influence and rule bending that has been noted within this years under 16s group.

Stoke have been concerned about agents influence and rule bending that has been noted within this years under 16s group. Good and furthermore, good on Cutler. It's a great conundrum with agents. Players are hardly intelligent negotiators who have a great deal of understanding when it comes to contracts, especially the youth, so they do need a degree of protection with contracts to ensure a fair deal. Unfortunately, as we all know, agents spend their time taking this too far to meet their own ends.

Plus all the Stoke supporters who used it as his nickname when he played for us.
But you have it your way.
The promotion to hierarchy status is much appreciated. Please accept a contribution of 1 karma point.

Guilty as charged. I called him Cuts - we all did didn't we? He was the PFA rep when he played for Stoke and he always struck me as a sound bloke with more grey matter than many players. Hopefully he'll do well as both an agent and a coach.
