Hanley Town confirmed this yesterday.
They are looking to set up an auction, and are looking into getting a Live band there.
Maybe we could have an OBPU afterwards? I'll put it to HT.
I'm confident this is going to be a cracking day, lets hope the weather is good for us.
I spoke to Ben's Mum last week and she is more than happy with what we are doing.
If anyone has any ideas for the day, or is willing to volunteer themselves in someway then drop me a PM.
Cheers.

The Auction We will organise and provide a mc for the auction after the footie but need lots of support in terms of auction lots. I am looking for anyone with contacts to get any sort of donations that will raise a few quid. Football shirts, memoribilia, a day's work, car service, haircut, manicure, tanning session, are a few suggestions. If as many people as possible could support this and then send me confirmation of donations, then I will make it happen from there. Also, we may be able to get "some perks" from ST1. I will ask the question.
Hanley Town will start the ball rolling with a pair of tickets for our sportsman's dinner starring Stoke's Finest - Denis Smith. The event takes place on the 11/4 at Baddeley Green WMC, and also features top comedian Ian "Sludge" Lees. Tickets are £50 a pair and as the event takes place before the auction I will accept bids on this post. Opening bid should be at least £30. Auction will close at 01.00 am on Friday 4/4/08. Get Bidding!
PS We can keep the bar open after the event for an OBPU if required. PPS Posted by MrFlirty on Yesterday at 4:58pm Hope Hanley town dont take it too seriously and realise we are only overweight/overage/useless amateurs
McFlirty we will asking our "vets" to turn out and all of the above apply!

Rob ;D
I'm writing letters to local businesses to ask them to support us.
That will include, Stoke, Vale and Crewe.
I'm in the process of getting us a "coup" for the game. (Rob check your PMs ...)
I'm detirmined to get some local media coverage for this too. The Sentinel, Radio Stoke, and even Central News.
