So amid all that he hardly mentions thge fact Arry also disagreed with the second challenge being yellow.

So, amid all the vitriol the "journalist" actually agrees that Whitehead's second yellow was harsh. But still has to bring up the Shawcross/Ramsey myth (different ref, different game - and we didn't argue the red card for that, although we probably had grounds to). Unbelievable. Unfortunately I think Arsene has won the media war - it's going to be impossible for Stoke to shake off the "dirty" tag now. I like the way he mentions the Spurs players fighting - surely pushing someone in the chest merits at least a yellow?

Some of the comments on this article are quite frankly unbeleivable
Perhaps Stoke should resign from the Premier League now so that the money can rightfully go to the big clubs who have proper supporters cheering their teams on from armchairs all over the country

I feel like the Premier League and the football snobs will not be happy until we are gone, which is tough 'cos we are here to stay!

Written by some twat who sounds like occasionally takes up his heated chair at the Emirates.
I quite like Modric as a player but he made a very gymnastic display of that challenge (which was late).

Kamara and his guests on goals on Sunday (Jon Barnes and Jimmy Floyd Haeselbank) both said it was a very poor decision.

Well, I replied to this nasty, vicious, inaccurate and poisonous piece of 'journalism'. However, 'The Times' moderator does not appear to odd-job on 'The Oatcake'. For the record, I merely pointed out that Stoke received 3 yellow cards for 7 fouls whereas Spurs received 1 yellow card for 9 fouls! Also, I pointed out that Stoke committed the joint lowest number of fouls in The Prem on Saturday afternoon. I suggested that FACTS are beyond the journalist who printed this appalling piece of 'journalism'? Finally, I suggested the piece is ghost written by Arsene Wenger? However, I did not go so far as to suggest that Arsene Wenger is the 'journalist's' father?

I think we deserved one booking and that was Whitehead's first. Fookin' pathetic.

Shit journalism of the highest order from a paper I used to respect and buy.
Not going to bother buying it anymore after this dirge.

A straight red? Mardy idiots like him are killing the game. It was a solid yellow card offence.

Patrick Collins in the Mail last Sunday was an absolute joke, almost libellous/slanderous (I get confused).
Not that I buy the f***** crap, but read it at in-laws. He's had another dig today.
I wish we'd put our foot in a bit more to be honest.

I am proud of Stoke City's tackling, we are not a dirty team.
However, I can't believe that any manager should try to suggest who referees their games. It is totally out of order. Imagine what we would have said if Wenger had made the call not TP?
