can you see our defense plonking the ball onto the head of a buck-toothed midget from 60 yards?
It'll never happen mate.
And rightly so in my opinion. He's lost his way and we don't have the luxury of time to help him find it.
(Same could be said of Nugent as well to be honest) - Apart from the buck-toothed midget bit.
;D

And Parkin And Pericard. And, in Earnshaw's favour (or A.N. Other with some pedigree) he maybe wouldn't need an A-Z, a compass and intensive training in how to be a pro footballer to find it again? To be fair, if he's looking at Nugent, he's not (surprisingly, admittedly) looking for someone to act as a target for 60-yd punts, is he? "I would like to bring another natural goalscorer in," "As we've seen again, we need someone in the box who can put it away"Unlikely as it sounds, maybe he's ready to abandon the Big Lump Policy for the run-in? He may well have done last season if Parkin hadn't been recalled?

There aren't many good big 'uns available though, are there - especially ones who know where the net is?
And the fact he's after Nugent shows he's not necessarily after a big mauler.

It would be a struggle to take Earnie to our hearts, but if he scored the goals to take us up, I'm sure we'd try ;D

lets hope his confidence and fitness return IF he joins us. either earnshaw or nugent would add quite a bit to the gate as a lot of people believe we are just missing that quality striker to partner fuller
