Like Alan Shearer (on the "One Show" the other day) I'd rather pay some money to charity NOT to wear a rival shirt.

I would for a serious amount of charity cash wear any shirt, It's only a shirt.
I would find Vale, Arsenal, Manure, Brum and Cardiff difficult though.

I would wager that there are more people at this very moment, wearing the football shirt of a club they have never seen live than those that have. That's how little it means nowadays. I'll do it for a pint.

I'd rather give charity the £36.99 it costs for a vale top than actually buy/wear one

I'd wear any shirt as long as they weren't from England and Wales, although I might wear a Wrexham one.
Ajax, Athletico Madrid, Athletic Bilbao, etc..

By the time i've ran the 6 miles Sunday, sponsored other people and brought some of the merchandise i'll have probably given about £40. All for a good cause

I once played for an U18 representative team that had a Vale strip for all of us to wear. The Stokies were not happy and it was only just bearable because we were all in it together. It was a fucking horrible experience. It was some fucking hideous blue away kalamazoo thing as well I think. I didn't even have a top to wear underneath and so it actually touched my skin.

Dukla Prague Away ;D love it !! Went to see the wonderful Half-Man Half-Biscuit not long ago ,so to that I'll add Barnstonworth United. Seriously though a good few years ago ,I put up my brothers Geordie girlfriend when she moved south to be near him until she sorted out her own place. It was around the time English teams returned to European competition and I was watching Aston Villa on tv and admittedly wanting them to win ,against possibly Inter ,although I could be wrong .Anyway when it was time for her to move out ,as a way of saying thanks the dozy mare bought me a football shirt ,and as I was living in Watford she couldn't get a Stoke shirt so by way of thanks she gave me a bloody Villa shirt ......needless to say it remained unworn I think for most of us wearing another English team shirt is about as comfortable to imagine as the re-occurring out with no trousers and pants dream.......Although back in my days of playing with my Bertie Biggins sunbed tan and permed flowing locks I did cut a dash in the Sampdoria shirt when my Stoke ones were in the wash for training
