I do in a way. After all, he's the man who got Hull into the Premiership for the first time ever, and like us (against the odds) kept them in the premiership last season. That being the case, didnt he deserve to be given up until the very end to prove himself once again?

Does the fact he's an orange wanker not change things though?

To be honest he was only an insufferable cunt when they were winning. Whilst they've been losing for the past 16 months he's just been a cunt.

i don't particularly feel sorry for him...
it's a harsh career and he'll know that.
i think even if they went down he should've been given a chance to get the back up at least and i know a few Hull fans who feel the same.

No, he's an obnoxious prick. The way he celebrated when they stayed up last season proves it. They only stayed up because 3 other teams were more shit then they were last season and he was singing like they'd won the league. Fuck him, I couldn't care less.

Nope - don't feel sorry for him at all. I'll never forget the "music to my ears" comment. Got what he deserves.

Not me. Lost his way once he'd got Hull promoted. Turned them into a bit of a circus, but he did heed the advice of the incoming chairman and took more of a back seat. Obviously couldn't get the results though.

It'll be interesting to see just how the footballing world view his managerial abilities and how big the actual club is that offers him his next job.

I agree Gaz ,he did well to get them up and keep them up. He turned around a very poor run earlier this season and with only a few games left i dont believe its in Hulls best interests to have sacked him.
There seems to be a lot of gloating on here . Lets not forget who we are and not get carried away as if we are one of the top 3 . Personally i would of been a lot happier if it had of been Wenger and could of not defended gloating in his case, but Brown seems a decent enough bloke imho.

Harsh sacking him with 9 games to go. He has made a complete dick of himself during his time at Hull City. Entertaining though!

Apart from 9 games when they first came up his record in the Premier League is woeful. 7 wins from his last 58 games, 114 goals conceded says it all. I can't understand anyone who says he should be given a chance... if I was that bad at my job I wouldn't wait to be sacked, I would have walked a long time ago.
He was happy to milk the adulation when things were going well in the first few months, he should be gracious in accepting now that he's not good enough. Sorry but I don't pity the man at all, he's been paid a small fortune in the last year and a half for basically being wank.

don't have any problems with him and i feel kinda sorry for him !! got them to the prem from 4th division in 4 years wasn't it ?? didnt even let him finish out the season ! typical situation of the manager gets too much praise when they win and too much blame when they lose !

to be fair in less then 2 yaers he kept them up in the CCC, got them to the prem and then kept them up. If that ws anyone else they would be hailed as a god
the fact is that Hull have been hiding behind Brown's lack of media knowledge as an excuse for thier own weaknesses i at boardroom level with that Duffen nearly running them into the ground
It is hard for hull been compared to us as we are similar sized clubs what we are over achieving lets face it.

In fairness to get Hull in the top flight after their past record is an achievement but something went wrong around Christmas time last year.
It always felt like he let success go to his head in the wrong way. Poor man management, poor signings and bloody poor interviews

Did Brown come in when they were League 1 or already in the CCC? He got the job when they were struggling in the CCC, managed to keep them up in his first season (joined them in December). Got them promoted the following season - after an average first half to the season they had a storming 2nd half. Peter Taylor got them up from the bottom tier to the CCC.

That being the case, didnt he deserve to be given up until the very end to prove himself once again? If he wasn't such a total liability as a human being he probably would have got the chance, as a manager he does deserve it. But it's only been going one way since that dressing down on the pitch tbh.
