I don't think it has been mentioned as of yet. 3 games and 3 really, really good performances from the skipper. Chuffed to see him back to his best!

Wouldn't say back to his best, but certainly getting there. At times he does look a bit too relaxed but luckily he manages to get away with it!

Pretty solid wasnt he? Great to see him getting back to his previous self. Think the return of Ryan this week will only do good things for him.
Great to see Higgy aswell, did a good job.

Nice headache for Saturday now, but I presume it will be:
Huth - Shawcross - Faye - Higginbotham

Nice headache for Saturday now, but I presume it will be: Huth - Shawcross - Faye - Higginbotham Strange how things work out, earlier in the season people were slagging off Pulises 4 centre back approach and higginbothams long balls, now it seems to be the preferred defence.

Abdy did great saturday and i hope this is the return of our lord abdoulaye, at his best he is up there with the best of them.

Totally agree, just a few more games of that consistency will see him return to his best

Nice headache for Saturday now, but I presume it will be: Huth - Shawcross - Faye - Higginbotham That is a total quality back four. If we could get through a season with them all on the pitch I reckon we'd have a better record than Villa.

It really is an excellent "all-out defence" back four. Obviously Huth and The Hig at FB won't do much attacking wise (but we don't really have anyone else to do that anyway), but they won't concede many either.

Great back four when defending and attacking set pieces.

Nice headache for Saturday now, but I presume it will be: Huth - Shawcross - Faye - Higginbotham Yeah that'll do nicely for me as well mate. All four are quality defenders, I prefer Huth at centre back but if we are to accomodate our best four defenders then that is the way we have to go.
