The game is becoming farcical. Let's beat out any passion and make it so fookin' sterile, the game will only be suitable for old ladies and under 5's. I'll take that back, Mabel would have been on the pitch celebrating. Celebrating anything has become a crime in the game. The fans were ecstatic and they wanted to celebrate their great victory with the players. Good on 'em. Well done Barnsley and two fingers up to the FA. Those two wankers at Stoke were far worse than all those on the pitch at Barnsley.

Cant believe that anybody would think it was out of order to celebrate on the pitch with your players after a result like Barnsley got. Between the stewards and the no1stokies of this world the atmosphere at football matches is getting destroyed. Stewards were shouting at people to sit down when we were awarded the last minute penalty on Saturday! If we get promoted I for 1 will be on the pitch. Anyone joining me?

i thought it was a great sight to see the fans streaming on the pitch at barnsley, a display of great celebration and emotion in which nobody got hurt.it shows that fans can express their joy without resorting to any violence.
seeing their fans carrying players on their shoulders is a throwback to the days when football was a game FOR the fans.
these are great footballing moments, i would love to be on that pitch as a stoke fan celebrating a victory like that.
of course it is potentially dangerous, so is walking down the street!

Would you like to see the police try to identify, arrest and prosecute all 2000 of them then? Or see them lose points or be kicked out of the Cup? Lets face it down the years at the brit there have been many incidents of stokies on the pitch - the birmingham 7-0 debacle, someone actually hitting our own player (lightbourne), the QPR keeper incident, throwing bottles, calling dave jones a P.D. file etc etc and we haven't been done for any of them, just fined a bit or given a verbal warning. Are you now seriously crying injustice that Barnsley won't be punished for celebrating a historic cup win?

what i'm saying is, if we go on the pitch it is highly likely that we will be punished, so if we get punished then everyone else should be punished for the same crime!

I saw that in your arguement, and I have just given you two examples of when we have done as such, not to celebrate but to attack players, and guess what we didn't get punished. So it actually seems like people have been given the same punishment as us (basically nothing) for a far less heinous crime (celebrating rather than right-hooking our misfiring striker).
So basically you have no point. If we get promoted and invade the pitch (which WILL happen if we go up on the last day) and get points docked then I will be back to give you an apology.

Agree with Watto. Be straight on the pitch if we got promotion crime or not. Did it at the vic and i'll do it again. Just need to work out a way of getting the scoreboard out the place without anybody noticing

Hardly the crime of the century, can easily be overlooked considering...
I think it's refreshing to see scenes like that! Genuine fans that have been through alot of crap times with their club, overjoyed to beat the plastic gloryhunters from Ch£ls£a

Fucking hell, how about when chasetown beat the vale and their supporters mobbed the pitch should they have been kicked out of the competition? This always happens in football when the minnow knocks out the bigger team, get off the high horse and onto six white ens
