Thought we played ok for the last 5 mins Gally should defo start v Watford, ive always backed Pulis but am starting to query some of his decisions of late.

It isn't working with Sidibe right now. Just pumpig the ball to him isn't working...not least because he's winning headers. The ball just comes straight back at us. And our defence isn't solid which doesn't help.
My mind goes back to Duncan Ferguson at Everton. Despite his status there when he left they improved as a team. Not least because it was too easy just to pump a long ball towards him. Duncan for Everton is like Sidibe for us. If we put Gallagher in for Sidibe tomorrow we'll be in a position to vary our game and keep the ball more instead of the artless lottery we played for much of yesterdays game. We are a better side than one that just kicks it high and hard hoping for a flick. Time to do ourselves justice.

Gally on the left and then Cresswell or Mama up front.
On Saturday's performance definatley Cresswell.

Mama? You'd drop our biggest goal scoring threat for Mama? Eh? I know Fuller was greedy but my God Mama is gash!

Cresswell hasn't really got the pace to beat a man. Put him or Gally up front and drop Sidibe I say.

Lawrence Delap Whelan Gally
Cresswell Fuller
You don't need Mama then as there is enough creativity in the midfield.

He obviosly rates Cresswell out there. When Griff was sent off, Cresswell became the captain and in that match he was shit and lucky imo to retain his place after being utter wank at PNE too.

And I doubt Tone will see it that way but what can we do? When Lawrence is out it should be fun. Delap on the right with Diao and Whelan in the middle. Stevie Wonder can see Diao and Whelan can't play together. Personally Whelan and Pugh would get the nod for me. Gally on the left and Delap on the right.
Diao needs to be put in the squad to face Fail on Wednesday. It's obvious he needs games so get him playing a half/65 minutes for the reserves. He needs to get back to some form of fitness. Currently he has none which has lead to the big man not having any confidence.
