Played well, full of running for the full 90 too!

Good on the left, looked uncomfy on the right.
I couldn't believe how well he lasted 90mins.

He did great mate. Looked a bit rusty with his end product in the final third but his control and running with the ball was as good as ever and stood out like a sore thumb as what we've been lacking this last few games.

personally i thought he struggled for the first 5/10 minutes. especially getting with the pace of the game and against Mears who had him beaten for pace. however after that he got into his stride and played really well. i thought he played well on the right and did well cutting inside and troubled both Jordan and the guy before him (name's gone from my head they bought him from Celtic) and yes full of running for the 90 and looked a threat.

Looked fully fit - was really expecting him to not last the 90 - but he looked very comfortable.

Needs to be on the left wing, thats his natural position and where he is most effective.
Leave the right flank for Liam.

Got better as the game went on, which was most surprising. Great to have him back

Why does he get played on the right occasionally? To the average fan like me he looks far less effective, so what is Pulis thinking?

Why does he get played on the right occasionally? To the average fan like me he looks far less effective, so what is Pulis thinking? well other than Liam (arguable at the moment) we don't have a decent option for the RW so he's playing Pugh who's left sided and then swapping matty over. other times he does it it's purely tactical. like if the left back is slower then it gives Matty someone better to run at as we saw last night with Fox/Jordan compared to Mears.

Was it me or did Burnley put two players on him quite a bit last night. Does this show other teams are worried by his potential, I think so! Thought he did well for his first match back. Nice to see him last 90 minutes

Overall good night - got the point away, thought we would go on once we went one up, but they're scrapping for their lives now, so all in all...good result. Great to see Ether last 90 mins, looked very comfy too.
