Put us in the upper tier so we don't get spat on.

why not put the away fans at the back of the upper tier so they cant gob that far, and put a gob catcher canopy over the home fans?

They will never put an upper tier on the South Stand - it would take too much light from the pitch. However, the Boothen at the north end of the ground could be made two tier in the unlikely event that we still needed to expand after the corners are flled in.
Fill in the corners and we'd raise the capacity to about 35,000 and an upper tier on the Boothen might add another 5,000.

I still say we should build something ridiculous and decadent in one of the corners that looks completely out of place.

The scoreboard (clock?) corner would hold 1,800 fans if filled in and the other two corners could hold up to 2,500 fans each. Give them stools instead of seats. Squeeze em in. ;D Turn the stools upside down for when we play Arsenal, Hull maybe Brighton and they'd squeeze even more in!
