Got tickets for the match tomorrow night but we can't leave until 3pm! The match doesn't KO until 8pm but its going to be a nightmare getting to Wembley. Anybody got any ideas about parking outside london and getting the train or tube in?
Any help gladly received!!!

Can use my parking space if you need to mate which is here, maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Thomas+More+Street&sll=53.800651,-4.064941&sspn=13.179201,28.081055&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Thomas+More+St,+London+E1W,+United+Kingdom&z=16 but if you can get the train from Stoke to Euston at 3.30 you will be in London by 5- plenty of time. Then you just get the tube to Wembley Best bet on the tube is walk to Euston Square from Euston (about 200 yards away and clearly signposted) then take the Maroon (Metropolitan) line to Wembley Park. Or get the light blue (Victoria) line to Green Park, and then get the Silver (Jubilee) line to Wembley Park. Both journeys are probably half an hour if I remember rightly. Tube map here www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/standard-tube-map.pdfAnd also available at all stations in London

Cheers! Its ok getting the train into London its getting back thats the problem. We'll never get back into Euston or to Watford from Wembley to get the last train back!
I was thinking perhaps driving as far as possible to say perhaps Watford or High Wycombe and then getting the train from there?
Anybody else got any ideas? ???

Try parkatmyhouse. Every time I've gone to wembly I've used them. It's literaly a 2min walk to the ground and you don't pay til you get there. My brother always tubes from Watford and doesn't have a problemmaking the tube back as everyone else is goin into london not out of it

Well last trains from Euston and Wembley to Watford are like 11pm so you should have no problem

Thanks Adele. I think the tube from Watford will be the answer. Never used parkatmyhouse - whats that about?

Get off M1 @ Junction 4. Turn right. Stanmore station is about 1/2 a mile down on the lext. 3 Stop from Wembley on the tube.
Bargain!!!

It's the companys from the industrial estates across the road from the ground. They hire out their parking spaces. It's all booked onemail and youpaywhen you get there. Second avenue isusually where iparkandirs on a one way that misses allthe traffic coming off wembly carpark itself .

An other tip is the unofficial scarves they sell are half price after the match if you want to take the chance that they haven't sold out. I went to the Croatia game in Stoke top and had some good banter. I wouldn't recommend it for this match though!

I went to the England v Croatia game in September and we drove down to Bushey (just south and Watford) and parked up there, only a few quid for the day. Then you get on the overground line which goes straight into Wembley Central (and not the busier Wembley Park) and after the match we got away really quick as most of the crowds seemed to be heading in the opposite direction back into London towards the train stations etc. I couldn't reccomend it more.

We always go to Hillingdon. Theres parking there and a pub (the Swallow) just yards from the tube station entrance.

I have parked up in Kingsbury before now and got the tube in from there. Plenty of street parking there as well. There are a few pubs there that are a lot quieter than the ones near Wembley and a few places to eat as well (we went into Nandos)
