Leafiing through the NotW just I came across a centre spread picture in the sports supplement. It appears that Ramsay's leg is broken BEFORE Ryan tackled him. Half of his studs are dug in, and his leg is already broken. Ryan's left foot is just about to make contact however. Take a look for yourselves, it may change your opinion.
I don't know how to put in a link to the image, sorry.

It shouldn't matter, even if Ryan did break his leg there was no intention at all. It was just an horrific accident.

Neckend, are yoiu sure? Surely if it was after the tackle, then Ramsay's foot/leg would be higher and Shawcrosses foot would be further forward than it is in the picture? In the video's of the challenge Ramsay's leg goes up into the air.

Yes Eff, much discussed last night - conclusion is that the picture is after contact and Ryan's leg has bounced back off Ramseys following contact, making it look like he hasn't actually made the tackle yet. The position of the ball suggests the pic is after the tackle.

Yeah, its the one but it came up last night on another thread and the pic is taken after the tackle. I think on some pictures it does look like Ramseys' ankle is going over before the players meet

Does it matter that theres half a dozen other topics on it has this particular thread affected you in some way that you felt the need to be a sarcastic condescending prick ? He wanted his own thread so no one has forced you to read it or even click and open the thread. So stop complaining you tool.

By the way, interesting comment below the story:
As an Arsenal I find it stupid that everyone blames shawcross, yes bad challenge but there was no intent, no malice, no two feet so we should leave it there and hope they BOTH get on with there very promising careers! however the fact that in 5 years 4 Arsenal players (edu, diaby - ankle, eduardo and now ramsey) have suffered serious injuries is slightly suspect, I'm not saying they premeditatedely go out to hurt Arsenal players but they go out to get physically and that is why it happens so often to Arsenal!
