He will probably have had his op by now. Has anyone heard any news on his condition and how "clean" the break was?
As and when news come in could it be posted on this thread please.

Other than news that he HAD an emergency operation, as we suspected he'd have done, I too can't find any updates on his condition and would also appreciate any information. Thank you

Quotes from his Twitter page..
"He really is a nice guy. It was a 50/50 challenge and both of us went for it."
"I don't blame Ryan in anyway at all. I have said he never meant to hurt me, He is a good guy."
...the page does look genuine ID.

That is the worst fake Twitter page I have ever seen. I doubt he could even speak let alone use a phone if he'd been drugged up for an operation.

You're allowed phones in hospital these days, maybe he's using his mobile. Let's face it he's going to be bored silly and probably can't sleep... they were posted at around 4am, you would have to be one committed fucker to stay up 'til 4am to post all that if you were taking the piss...

Same injury as Rory's it seems. I think we should vilify whoever did that to him.

Apparently he's had a titanium rod put down through the bone. What peope may or may not know is that the facilties here in Stoke for people with broken bones are apparently the best in the country, and many people get sent here to have surgery on similar and worse bone injuries.

Has he had the op here or in London? I have read that they may have sent him down to London to get it done. Good luck to him.

In Wenger's interview on talksport last night he mentioned they may have him moved to London, but he may have said that without knowing just how good the facilities were in SOT

www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/official-statement-aaron-ramsey-s-injuryOn Sunday, Arsenal Football Club released the following statement: “During yesterday’s match against Stoke City, Aaron Ramsey sustained fractures to the tibia and fibula in his right leg. Yesterday evening he underwent surgery. "The operation successfully reduced the fractures and whilst it is too soon to state an exact timescale for recovery, Aaron will certainly miss the remainder of this season. Our thoughts are with Aaron at this time and everyone at the Club wishes him all the best in making as speedy a return to action as possible.”

I wonder if it was a stress fracture which is common in sports persons and ramsey had a weekness there already after several knocks in his career.

The way his foot was hanging off with breaks to both Tib and Fib I doubt it was a stress fracture.

Spot on there mate. My Dad had an accident last year and he had the best care and the operation teams were absolutely spot on. Defiantly amongst the best in the country.
