Is that it doesnt effect him psychologically. MOTD have stated that there was no malicious intent, and I totally agree with that. I feel for Ramsey, its a horrific injury but Ryan went for the ball, there is NO question of that. Im disappointed with Fabregas. Whilst I understand he is upset, I dont condone his or Campebell's reaction towards him. He was visibly upset and there was no need for the way they reacted to him. I also think, after the storm that the red card was produced to placate Arsenal players. If Ramsey wasnt unlucky in the fact that his standing foot was planted, and he got away with bruising, Ryan would have got a booking at most. As a club, we must support Ryan. He is a legend in the making and we must do our utmost to make sure he receives the full backing of this club. Wenger can fuck off. He sees what he what he wants to see, and to pass judgement on Ryan is bang out of order. I praise Pulis for coming out and rightly sticking up for for Ryan and for pointing out that he does not take Wengers comments about him with any salt, as he does not know Shawcross.
On another not, I know Ryan may not be in the mood for celebration for VERY VERY WELL DONE FOR MAKING THE ENGLAND SQUAD! FULLY deserved and recognition for such a superb season. In time, this incident will be a mere second in an illustrious career.
WE LOVE YOU RYAN!
SGT

a great post we will be withh you ryan I just dont want him to the victim of a media witchhunt. He deserves his ENGLAND call up on merit and should not be tarred with a dirty player image. I will say this. Arsenal had a player booked in this match. Stoke had none. Shawcross was sent off for a mistimed tackle. Not reckless, not thuggish, not a lunge, but mistimed. Thats it. It does not retract from the fact that he is one of the most promising players that this country will produce. FACT! SGT

Great post, 'we'll be with you Ryan every step along the way'. If the tackle had of been that bad, then Capello (who delayed naming his squad for 40 minutes to review the footage!) would not of included him! Nice one Ryan, i just hope this does not ruin his england call up.

What a well balanced approach SGT Ryan will be fine, this will strengthen him in the long term. He has friends not colleagues in this squad and they will nurture him.

I don't even think it was mistimed. They both went for the ball 50/50. As I have said on other posts, it was unfortunate for Ramsey that his leg caught the full brunt of Shawcross' genuine attempt to get the ball.
Agree with everything else, SGT.

The bloke already is a Stoke legend. Him, along with Fuller and Lawrence transformed the club. And i don't think this will have much effect on the lad, you have to have a strong character in football to succeed, and i'm 100 percent sure he has this.
