evening all
after what was a great performance today, i can't help but feel some people feel that we have already got 3 points in the bag and that we've already beat Man city in the replay, i accept that a lot of Man city fans form what i've read on the message boards are not confidence about Tuesday, we've still got 2 very, very, very big matches before the cup.
Man City (H) Pompey(A)
We nedd to take that mentality that we did on the 31ST of Jan 2009. Where we kicked. screamed and booed our way the a historic 3 points we have not won it yet not my a long shot Mancini (sp) would have learnt a lot form today's game
Tuesday should be cold -1 apperently. Right form the kick off we need to create that same atmosphere and we could do with a good wind to to stick it up there million pounds arses
we still got work to do
BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
FB
PS we really missed deano today

Not sure from listening to the Citeh fans on the radio whether Mancini is up to the "learning bit". One suggested that the jury is well out on him and that Hughes would not have survived a home draw v Stoke following on from an away defeat v Hull. He's under pressure and I'm sure Tuesday nights crowd will do everything to increase that ;D

Agreed we missed Woody, but I thought given they had 5 in midfield Whelan and Diao did good after first 15 mins and second half you wounldnt have noticed at alll would you?
Anyways the Toy Story hero has had a mcuh needed rest (because he puts in a shift every game) so should be raring to Tuesday and sort that SWP out if he has the bottle to tip up

Bring back the booing. Man City are mentally weak cowards, it's just a shame they got rid of Robinho. Just boo them off the pitch as they tippy-tappy it on the halfway line.

went on to bluemoon site and citeh fans are split as far as mancini is concerned. not so fond of mr ireland also, they admit to being a one man team ..... tevez ... he will not be back from argentina in time for our next encounter at the brit so i for one am expecting a bit of a pounding for man citeh. taxi for mr mancini will soon be heard around the citeh of manchester stadium... i would love to strangle that slimy smug bastard with that scarf..wanker of the highest order.

They showed yesterday that they have no guts, so a hostile reception at the Brit on a cold Tuesday night should sort them out. Bring back the 80 minute roar!!!!

Remember how they visibly shrank that day?
I'm not sure we can replicate that level of venom though - it was born out of the sending off and the specific circumstances of that match. It really was unique - just booing and roaring and gutteral noise, rather than loud singing like yesterday. Awesome.
We'll give it our best shot of course!

I can't wait for this one, hopefully we won't need a SWP type incident to get the crowd going this time. If we both get at them (fans and players) from the off we stand a good chance of beating them again.
