It always annoys me when pundits refer to us as Stoke but to our opponents as Manchester City. It shouldn't bother me but if our opponents deserve to be called by their full name so do we. Not quite as bad as referring to a certain team as "United" but still annoying. So, a City win it is then! ;D

John - I don't care what he calls us/them, or if he predicts us to lose 10-0, I'd far sooner have the league points next week

I think he's being generous to us.
In the Wigan game, our usually solid defence was exposed. I was thinking during that game that the prospect of Wright-Phillips vs. Wilkinson was a train wreck waiting to happen.

Malvern - do you mean "after" the Wigan game, or "during " ???

Well he could hardly refer to them as "Manchester" could he? Yes, but this is what he says in the text below the scores......... " City have excellent strength in depth up front. Stoke are another team on a good run, unbeaten for a while, but it's City at home and difficult to predict anything other than a City win". I'll take a "City" win!

Just hedging his bets. If predicts a City win, he can't be wrong can he?

I agree with PP. There are 2 "city" s playing on Saturday and he should refer to them both correctly.

I was thinking during that game that the prospect of Wright-Phillips vs. Wilkinson was a train wreck waiting to happen. I think Wilko will be on the bench after getting exposed at Wigan, and Huth will take the right back slot. Then it depends on whether Pulis thinks Faye is fit as to whether him or Higgy play in the centre, with Collins on the left if Faye's out. As for Lawro's prediction, I'd expect nothing else from him but a Man City win. They are unbeaten at home in the league so the odds are stacked against us. But hey we beat Spurs at WHL when no one gave us a chance...
