Has been left out of Fergie's Champion League selection (he went for Richie De Laet instead!!!). Fergie still claim's that he'll be football fit by the end of this season but I doubt he'll be good enough for United. So, a defensive midfielder who likes to act as a fifth defender and has a pair of the most dodgy knees in the business. I know a baseball cap wearing manager who would love a bit of that kind of action come summer

Hargreaves has undoubted quality and i think Man Utd will offload him in the summer, i guess they'll be a few higher profile teams than us though queueing up if he does.

Bayern would be back in for him at the very least imo. A few top Italian teams, maybe even a few top Spanish team as well would be in for him. Would be nice but I can't see it.

Shouldn't think so stone, his whole career is in serious jeopardy and if he should come back it'll be most unlikely that he will still be the player he once was. On the other hand, if a miracle happened and he did return to full fitness then surely Ferguson would keep him at Old Trafford to repay some of the huge investment made in him.

This is the thing, if he is the same quality footballer he was before injury then he'll stay at United, or if he was to leave it'd be to a massive club. Will he be able to cut the mustard for a Top team though? And with his dodgy knees I seriously doubt he'd pass any medical other than Stoke's. Of course this is all just hypothetical, but I think if he was to leave due to not being good enough for United, I can't see a club he'd be better suited to joining :-)

An outstanding defensive midfielder who can also deputise more than capably at Right Back.
Tone would end up playing him in goal or something.
He's too good for us. If he can recapture his fitness, he's as good as Mascherano IMHO.

Tone would end up playing him in goal or something. ;D ;D ;D He's a fabulous player, injury free. Wish he was for us but don't think so somehow

Injury free he is in my world 11 (no joke either, I think he's a legend) but my argument is, will he EVER be the same again, I seriously doubt it. I think you'll find out in summer he is a decent mid-table-ish player, but nothing more than that anymore. Shame as him being in the Englnad squad would of boosted our chances no end!

Wish he was for us but don't think so somehow Why on earth would you want a player with a career threatening injury which even if he recovered from could re-occur at any time (eg Jimmy Bullard) on a big-money contract? Even if he does manage to resume his career who's to say he'll still be the player he once was, because many with this type of injury simply aren't. Doesn't make sense - does it? ???

He was amazing at the World cup in Germany, If he's half as good as that when he returns we wouldn't get a sniff IMO. I'd love it if we did though, it's gonna take a long time for him to get back to full fitness so maybe he'll go out on loan!?
