Will he ever play again or is that it? That, is "it".
(I think anyway: ano loan to the CCC & offski in the summer.)
What he's ever "done" i don't know.
Maybe he was the first incumbent of the role of Christmas party organiser?

Depends what we have to pay Reading For number of appearances (Goals),which I am sure was in the deal that we made. There is no way we paid 5mil up front.

I would like to see him given another chance tbh, this season he was looking pretty promising. Sidibe is good, but we have to use him in the right way, Arsenal is a game where Sidibe is effective, because their CB's are lightweight. As we saw against Sunderland, Sidibe couldn't get much from their defence.
We have 5 strikers, who all bring something different to the team I think Kitson would have worked better with Tuncay last night, he backs into defenders and can challenge arially but would have had a bit better touch and benefitted more from Tuncays vision.

For whatever reason his head has gone - just ask any Boro fan
I just dont know where he goes now to get it right and a bit of belief back. For whatever reason there is no reason SCFC will play him now as not to activate payment clauses to Reading

Agreed. The fact that he never makes the bench suggests that his attitude must be utter shite and he's proper burnt his bridges. Shame.

I believe that Big Dave Kitson is easily our best striker; hence his price tag! If TP has any sense he will begin to start him up front. Kitto is way above championship level.

I know one has to be careful about giving too much credence to MB tittle-tattle, but wasn't there a suggestion that he'd played a leading role in Towelgate? I'm sure someone had said that Kitson was the one who leaked it to the press after he'd been told about it in a phone call from one of the lads at The Emirates.

With Beattie's attitude/fitness problems this season (and towelgate) it's surprising that he's still picked for the bench ahead of Kits. Either Kitson fell out big time with someone, or he has some clauses in his contract we don't want to pay up for appearances.

Tell you what, though, I'm looking forward to DK's autobiography*. Or at least, I'm looking forward to reading the chapter about his time at Stoke!
* Probably won't be ghost-written either. He comes across as the type who'd know about the correct use of apostrophes, unlike most of his colleagues, for whom The Sun is probably a literary challenge.

Barring a catastrophic injury crisis i cant see Kits ever playing for us again, there was obviously a serious falling out with the management as he was beginning to score a couple of goals and then jsut dropped and loaned out the blue.

I think the club and management as well as players involved in these petty and silly disputes should be more professional and put the club and fans first. If he is the best striker we have then he should be played regardless of personal differences and squabbles.

Reading fans will tell you that he was wank for them on loan and Middlesbrough fans will tell you the same. Both in the Championship so I would suggest that the evidence points to his being Championship standard AT BEST. If I'm misjudging him, just why wasn't there a long queue to sign him on loan? I'm one of those that said "give him time" when he first arrived and who championed him when he looked to be back this season ready to prove everyone wrong. Now I'm just sick of hearing about him and his (obvious) personality problems that prevent him from getting stuck into the task we signed him for. He's already gone as far as I'm concerned.
