Could this be our new binary season, we stayed up last year, job done. Now TP is building from the back like we did the year prior to promotion. We are extremely difficult to beat if not a bit crap to watch at times. but this should almost guarantee another one or two years in top flight before we can afford more better players to really make the next step. I believe we really will improve again next year (if we stay up, nothing guaranteed in this league) we have just got to put up with the odd shite game in the process.

Somebody told me, I see what you are saying about staying in the Premier League and building the squad with better quality players in the future - but I don't really think you can compare it to the binary season in terms of the way we are playing. If you look at our current 5 match unbeaten run (in all competitions) it includes only one match where we scored no goals, one match where we scored one goal and three matches where we scored three goals. That is very different from the way we played in the binary season. Same objective, maybe, but a rather different way of getting there.

Good post
What would people rather be watching, dull games in the prem or some entertaining stuff in the fizzy pop league??

Dont you mean put up with the odd GOOD game No I mean the odd shite one, they are usually entertaining even when the football is rubbish. Lakeland. Yes, fair point, I perhaps mean more safety first, more than 0-0 1-0 0-1

That's a question you should put to the Baggies and Newcastle fans. I'd like to bet you that every single one of them prefers this season to last. OS.

Thing is football's ultimately about long term hopes and dreams, they may have fun this year but it will be back to square one after promotion they will be 3 years 'away' from us. Wondering should we play tippy tappy and get slaughtered each week or get stuck in like us and compete. P.S. OS I haven't missed the sarcasm in you post. ;D
