Moses is predominantly a left winger though isn't he? He can play up front but You'd be mad to swap Moses for a proven scorer like Rodders. I don't think this means Rodders is off at all.

Agreed, they'd have to bring in another striker to let go of rodney, surely? Having Scotland on his own is like going into a knife fight armed with a toothpick no matter how many talented wingers you have surrounding him.

I seem to remember the same being said about Scott Sinclair when he was available for loan and look what he has done.

Moses is on a different planet to Sinclair imo. If he does join Wigan won't them pair be reunited?

My first thought was who'll be leaving Wigan. I'm surprised we never went for him. I wonder if we've got a gentlemans agreement to let them have him and then they sell Roddy to us.

Can't see how the Moses deal can have any bearing on Rodda,. Given the fact that we paid apparently £2.6 for Arismendi who has never even been considered good enough for the bench. £2.5 for Moses who has been a first team regular in the Champ for three years and has all that obvious potential seems an absolute no brainer

Maybe this is why we've stayed clear of Moses?? Knowing Wigwam would sell if they get him

would have thought it was a no brainer moses looks like he has bags of potential and worth a punt for a couple of mill especially when we fooked money up the wall for likes of tonge soares sonko etc

most overated player for some time imho
potential sure but no more than that
if he was that good Wenger,Ferguson e.t.c. would have snapped him up

Bags of potential, but is that about it?
We need players for now in my simple world.

At 2.5 million though it's potential worth taking a gamble on. He is proven over a number of season in the Championship. And we need some back for the left wing. If Ethers gets injured it's Danny Pugh time on the wing.

Seems rather strange that he's not been snapped up well before now. He's been a very good player prior to this run of form that he's having and at his age he's only going to get better. Oh well at least we had the wisdom to sign Soares.
