Well I'm really disappointed if this is true. James is a top quality goalkeeper, and a much better bet than Sorro (who has been good value).
I'm totally sick of seeing Sorro give soft goals away this season.

Fuck me fella he hasnt given that many away though has he.Just because the last few games yes they have been soft goals but what fame of mind would you be in if all this hype about james being brought in to replace you ay ??? James is a top notch keeper but i think soro has and is immense for us and id be gutted if james came in and replaced him straight away.

I seem to be in quite a small minority of people who can see the benefit of two decent keepers challenging each other for the No. 1 spot. I hope we get DJ as well as keeping hold of Tommy. Sure, one of them's going to pissed-off come Saturday, but why should 'keepers be exempt from the competition for places that most other players in the squad have to deal with?

I'm totally sick of seeing Sorro give soft goals away this season. James isn't beyond making soft errors as well though Mikey, and that was when he was at his best. It's a huge blind gamble to replace an outstanding goalkeeper (which Sorensen, for all his odd gaffes here and there, undoubtedly is) with a goalkeeper with question marks over his age and fitness.

I was at a dinner with Harry Redknapp last night and he said James was desperate to go to Tottenham but he couldn't guarantee him anything.
