We'll get 7000 odd. Depends on the price - how many we sell obviously.

It all depends on how much the tickets are priced and also on what day the game is played.
If its on TV again it'll have a massive impact on how many tickets we'll sell.
I'd love it to be a Saturday 3pm-£25 a ticket.
It'll probably be Sunday midday Kick-Off and tickets at £30-£40

Man City tickets are normally quite reasonably priced, i think it was £28 or something for the boxing day game - and I don't think they can charge more for cup games than for league games, so I doubt it'll be over £30. I hope we can get 7000 Stokies there - it'll be a tough one and the lads will need us to be loud and proud.

We'll be entitled to 15% which is about 7,200. I expect we'll get a lower initial allocation and only get more if we can sell them.

Bet the GMP were welllll happy when Stoke got drawn at City! Brilliant. Like Ringo said I would love a 3pm ko on the Saturday. Get at least 6,000 up to Manc!

We need to get as many people there as possible, it's going to be one hell of a tough tie. If we can get 7,000 odd Stokies cheering the lads on we could hopefully get a replay back at the Brit or possibly even sneak a win!

Would be nice to see the club make a gesture such as free travel for this one. 7000 Stokies would be awesome.

I'm not too fussed about the travel money. I just hope they don't charge £35 for it or something, £25 would be good

With it being Valentines Weekend I can see a lot of people 'treating' their other halves to a romatic day out on the terraces. Come on, Stokies, buy in droves and treat your lady or man to day out in Manchester. If we win they'll be on a promise too!

It had better be Satdee because Sundee is Valentines Day and I conna see the wife finding a football-match her idea of a Romantic-Day out... ...in fact, it would probably end in divorce... We are entitled to about 7,200 tickets but I doubt if we'll sell that many..even if they are about £25...unless the club put on free coach travel...

I think ITV have a live Saturday lunchtime slot.
Reckon this game could be it. Especially with the GMP malarkey.

Based on 15% of capacity, I'd guess that Leeds would have been entitled to at least 10,000 for their trip to Old Trafford in the third round.
Did the GMP allow them to have this many ticket or was the allocation seriously restricted?
Even if we could sell over 7,000 tickets for Eastlands (and I very much doubt that we could) would the GMP actually allow us that many tickets?
I wouldn't be surprised if we're restricted to a similar allocation to the one we got on Boxing day and even if we weren't then I'm not sure that Stoke themselves would gamble on taking such a big allocation on a firm sale basis.
I'm not sure how it would work ... if we were allowed the full allocation would it be a case of Stoke having to pay up front for one or the other (ie 3,000 tickets or 7,000 tickets) without an option to purchase a figure somewhere inbetween or to increase our allocation at a later stage if initial sales went well?

Leeds had 9,000 apparently. That's encouraging ... thanks bayern. There's been a precednet set there then already in the cup this season, it'd be pretty hard for the GMP to argue a case for us not receiving 7,000 then if we wanted them. However the only way I could see us selling out an allocation like that would be if the club were to lay of free travel ... it'd be absolutely fantiastic if they did mind!

Man City usually give the whole end to teams in the cup, as they have with Man United and The Arse in the Carling Cup this season. Arse filled the end, and it said in the programme from Boxing Day they took around 4,800 (off the top of my head), so I'm guessing that's what we'll get too.

Leeds played manure so its hardly a presedent In terms of an unusually large away following (with a bit of a rep) turning up for an FA cup match in Manchester this season ... I'd say it's a pretty good one actually.
