Great performance today, took him 5/6 games to settle in but showing us now why we paid for him. Has been excellent for a good while now, well done Dean. He really did deserve that goal, broke up the play way and played some good football too.
Whelan and Whitehead would be starting every game with performances like that.

Immense, this fellas going to go on and become one of our all time heroes, he's that good at what he does, and another thing he wasn't even blowing after making that run to score his goal in the dying moments of the game.

I was one of those who were laying into Whitehead earlier in the season (hang my head in shame), but the lads come good, too good in fact and I'm behind him all the way now (Oo-er!!!), another great performance, looks a far better player along side Whelan though!!! Gooooaaaarrrrnnn Deano, keep it going my Son!!!

He has been brilliant for a number of weeks now, perhaps we should give new players a bit of time instead of judging them straight away. Really pleased for him, hope he continues

He has the best fitness I've seen from any player in a long time, he's never out of breath and he never stops going. He's the perfect player to compliment the creative CM we need, also seems like a genuinely nice bloke

I've never been so wrong about a player. He's a fucking diamond. When he scored one of my mates sent me a text that simply said..... "Deano is Lethal" ;D Another cracking performance by Dean. You are right, it's easy to see now what Pulis obviously knew from the start.

I thought he was going to go off injured in the first half with Matty, i'm so so glad he didn't. I've been told tonight though that Pulis has fined dean 2 weeks wages and told him he's on the transfer list if he ever gets that far forward again when were wining 2-1 with minutes to go

He was playing as a winger at the time and the wingers get a degree of freedom

Ever since Blackburn he has been a model of consistency culminating in todays performance.
He now looks the player he was instead of the one who first arrived at the Brit.
Keep up the good work Deano.

He was up there with Darel Russell for my most hated Stoke centre midfielder. He's now up there with James O'Connor for my most loved.
