Freddie Jones R.I P.
I have been informed today that Freddie passed away. I played in many games with Freddie from Silverdale for many a Year....Terrible shock and News...R.I P Jim....Oxford Arms.
Without a doubt the best player i ever shared the pitch with..

Also known Freddy for a good few years. Top bloke, great player and a genuine character. Will be sadly missed. RIP Fred

i played football with a freddie jones many years ago for pub teams in leek , jolly sailor and winking man to name a few . did he havea brother called buster ? if so its the same one . RIP ..

R.I.P. Fred. Can remember him when he used to work on the doors of El Sid's in Newcastle in the late 70's.Great bloke,will be sadly missed in town.
