Why does most people on here have such polarised views on our own players?
Sorensen. Don't leave to Munich.... 1 day later.. We won't sell him after that howler.
Sidibe... Brilliant at what he does last year... bordering on getting booed on Saturday
Beattie... England call up not a few months ago... now crap get only worth 1 - 1.5 million.
Whitehead... close to scape goat for booing.. now first on team sheet.
Diao... one of the main reasons were in the Prem... then shite worst player ever .. after Everton away brilliant in every ones 11 now... why does he play him? Must have dodgy pictures of TP.
Kitson... total shite.... top scorer etc...
Can no one on here understand form and players having to play injured sometimes? Why not just admit a players off form and needs to regain it. I understand Kitson and Beats may have burned bridges etc. but Sidibe had a stinker on Saturday but he will make good contributions in other games. Like Fulham for example.
But we should stay behind players more, I know we do at the ground but the crap talked on here is negative and we all should see it from another angle.

Isn't that the beauty of the messageboard though, that we all have different opinions?
Also - Beattie was excellent last year and HAS been crap this season. Diao does have decent games and awful games. Kitson lloked dreadful last season and good at the start of this one etc.

To be honest STM, to avoid any knee-jerk reaction to an individual players performances I try and desist from commenting on a Stoke game until at least 2 days after the final whistle. (I still can never seem to change my opinion of Sidibe however long I leave it though!)  |

Well said Somebody Told me. When I see the extreme comments against players like Sidibe or Diao, it makes me want to have an opposite view. E.g Sidibe or Ngog - who would we rather have, close call but I'd go for Mama. Diao - held his own alongside Deano against a Brazilian international and an Argentinian international. Come on lets stop being fickle and remember we are loyal and proud and WE ARE STOKE!

Some have a downer on certain players, some try to defend the indefencible. Some laud players for performances long in the past. I try to be objective, I think Lawrence is a player with some ability who is performing quite poorly whereas I think Mama is a very poor footballer full stop I don't even think he's any good at the very limited role that is even defined by his name by Stoke fans. I think Sorro is a good premiership keeper who makes the odd embarassing mistake like on Saturday whereas I think Diao is a fairly poor footballer who has never been upto Premier League standard. I think Whitehead is a very limited footballer who is playing in such a poor midfield he's even starting to look very adequate. I think Tuncay and ricci are super footballers who struggle sometimes due to the crap football played by their team mates. I have all these opinions often quite opposite from other fans/posters but I always want Stoke to win every game just as the others will do because we're all Stoke fans and its never (in my lifetime) been an easy job. We aint Man Utd or Arsenal, suppose its easy supporting them, they always play good football and they're always at the top but they just aint Stoke.

Diao and Sidibe between, have had maybe, and i do say maybe, 3 decent games since Stoke have been in the prem ! so that states they are not good, just play above their level once in a blue moon !
Whitehead is the new Cresswell, he works hard, so in Pulis' book that equates to talent which equals appearances ! however, imo he accomplishes just as much as Cresswell did, pratically nothing !
Sorenson is a pretty good goalie, his talents have been maybe overstated a little by the penalty saves. Completely at fault for the Liverpool goal !
Kitson, since no one on the management side of SCFC has the balls or responsibility to tell su what the hell is the deal with him, i really cant pass judgement based on the speculative opinions of the people on this board !
