... So says the Radio York commentator.
Another encouraging performance then. Nothing created from open play by the sounds of it.

To be fair though Mikey, these pair have been incredibly biased towards York so I'd take that comment with an enormous fist of salt

These two are complete idiots so I doubt there is much to be had from that statement

I vowed never go to an FA Cup game again after witnessing Hartlepool, until we get at least to the 5th round.

Now these two clowns are complaining about the small press area at Stoke.
Saying he has the 'wires are wrapped round their legs'.
Just ashame they aren't wrapped round their necks!!

Now they're saying that York look like the Premiership side because they're playing nicer looking football I'm switching this garbage off now. I can't stand this biased bullshit

"York have matched Stoke stride for stride" Err yes, we haven't got out of first gear and beat them 3-1 yes they matched us stride for stride. Bless them.

At one point the commentators were saying about York's record buy at £250k and then said ''I bet Stoke can't remember when they last spent £250k on a player''...
...they should do their research as that was probably our record transfer fee just a few years ago!! ;D

The way they kept saying Cort at 1.2m as if that was amazing. Wasn't he our cheapest buy over the past few years?

Although let's be honest, it's not like we created anything from open play in our apparently super performances with Tuncay up front lately, is it? Just lots of set pieces, from which we scored (or didn't).

I can remember us in the Championship and D1 playing teams like Chelsea and Everton in the cup and getting really short change from their fans in the wake of the game. I decided then that if the tables were ever turned I would prefer to be humble in victory, magnanimous in defeat.
I would say genuinely that the gap in value between their team and ours seemed greater on paper than on grass today. In the end beating a Premiership team is always going to be difficult for a side in York's position, but you have to congratulate them on playing so well and it took Stoke's best eleven to beat them.
Thanks for the game York and good luck with the rest of the season - doing well in the Blue Square and very strong contenders for a return to the league this year.

It's especially worrying considering that we played virtually our first team today.

Think they were on commission to sat the words 'Premier League' as many times as possible in a 90 minute sitting.
