Yes I know that the long throw doesn't seem as effective now but to combat the 4th official taking the towels away, why doesn't the club switch to the multiball system?
The ball boys could keep drying the balls at the end we're attacking at so that Rory can do his thing. At the other end they're left to get wet.

In that case it's not something we'd be looking to do.

Inverness - spiteful! But funny I'd like to see a system where there's a ball every 10 yards or so, parallel to the line but 2 yards from it, so there's no time wasting. The closest ball can be used and the ref and linesman would also have a much better idea about stealing yardage. We could then keep as many balls dry for Rory as required.
