It should hopefully restore some harmony behind the scenes, I welcome it.

so that would be pulis, reid, megson, francis, and rudge, could it be possible we have a little too many managers at this club?? surely they all have different opinions

One of the most limited football men around. Awful. ??? Plenty of footballing knowledge, Managed West Brom from near Relegation from Division 1 and took them to the Premier League, managed plenty of clubs alongside this, including us and is a friend of Pulis' so will respect his decisions. As well as this he isn't a complete arse and will help to get our team spirit back! Pulis and Megson!

A yes man. Waste of space. We need someone who can teach Pulis about life in the Premier League, frankly.
Megson lacks the necessary experience (he knows all about relegation, though).

It just goes to show what a giant of a man TP is.

Is this worthy of sending a text out?
This is the most pointless text since the one alerting us to Sidibe's wife going into labour.
....unless it really is signposting Reid's exit and Megson becoming the asst. manager.
He must be in with a shout of the Wednesday job though. He's 4/1 2nd fav at the moment

Pulis got plenty of experience by KEEPING US UP last year! It is just missing something this year, and I think January will sort us out.

I both admire and agree with Pulis comments. I would be more than happy to have Megson working at Stoke but I still think that he is Sheffield Wednesday's next manager.

I think he is more likely to wait for a managers job probably S.W. or another championship club but wouldnt rule it out him coming till end of the season

Welcome Back Megson, I remember being unhappy to see the bloke go all those years ago - Great bloke.
I think he'll jump at the chance to be TP's number 2 and stay in the prem. He's a premier league manager now I can't see him taking a lower league job???

Bit of an odd text to send out, unless they're confident he'll come ? .... be a bit of a knock back if he says no now .

There is no mention in the statement tht Megson would be no.2
Pulis has simply offered him the chance to help out with the coaching

at 3:30 Radio 5 Live had a direct interview with Tone saying Megson is always welcome here, the players got on with him well last time and he's well regarded by the club. I hope he does come back - the type of stable character that we need and you'd never here of or believe having a personal spat with a first team player unlike Reid.
Ow hang-on... we didn't pay Megs when he was here last time.

I think Megson might be an improvement on Reid from all the rumblings coming out Reid seems to have upset the changing room a bit. there's nothing wrong with having someone whos a little more subdued. Plus I think the way Megson was when he was sacked showed him to be a decent guy in respect to the way he was treated by the icelandics.

Decent bloke and a better fit for us than Reid, is a hard working bloke and has picked up a few decent players for Bolton . Strangely their [problem this season has been keeping goals out .
Their fans seem to have even more unrealistic expectations than some of ours do, Staying up is success for them as it would be for us . Big Sam over achieved there because he was able to sign some aamazingly talented players to compliment their grafter so if Reid does go there I think he would be a decent addition .
Having said all that i would like us to bring in a foreign coach who knows a lot abou ttechnically good players thet TP could sign but realistically that aint going to happen

You can't get more minimum than nowt! He would be working for nothing to avoid losing his redundancy pay - just expenses of £2,000 a week lol
