All the pressure is on Man City for this game now, that could be a big plus for us. The media seem to have turned on them over their handling of the Hughes sacking, and their fans expectations are going to go up a few more notches too. They seem a bit rattled over the media attacks with rumours of player's unrest as well. Can we spoil the party? I hope we don't go into it too negatively.

dave said were going there for the win; the players are full of cofindence that they can win after their Villa performances.

If we take the same approach we did at Villa, and put in a performance of similar quality, then I really fancy us to get something. 0-1 Stoke Tuncay

this has got 0-0 written all over it imo, mancini will want to steady the ship for the first few games after player unrest, we have a good defense and will go therewith our infamous 8-1-1 formation and kill the game. we will be scared to attack as they have so much quality nige." we'll have a bit of a go in the last 10 minutes and we'll be saying we should of started like that.

Obviously, I hope this circus thing works in our favour. I'd love some statistics nut to work out how many times over the last few years a new manager's first game has been against us - it seems like loads?

You would think that we have to put some pressure on their shaky defence
Now Fergies wading in, its been a PR nightmare, so they need results quickly to keep the fans onside.

i think Man City are in win-win situation. If they play well Mancini will be a hero if they play crap they will just say he needs time to get the team sorted out.I think we will do well to get a point

I think the pressure is now OFF Citeh. A new manager is like a breath of fresh air at a club and the players will be really motivated to impress him.
I think they will win tomorrow against any opposition and we just happen to be the unfortunate fall guys.

they are training xmas day too, would be funny if history repeated itself but for Man City with Craig Bellamy "bitch slapping" Carlos Tevez a 'la Ric. I think 4 points from the next two games would be a good haul considering. 25 pts by new year probably puts us 6 ahead of last term doesnt it?
