fred barker, from hem heath cricket club, and staunch stoke city supporter has died today. he watched stoke city at all levels fro the juniors up to the 1st team, i will miss his wit and banter outside the ticket office on a match day, and so will zigger, nello stuart etc. R.I.P. old mate

Don't know if I knew Fred - it's so frustrating when there's no photograph - but of around the shop area, I probably did. RIP mate.
It has seemed a bad year for losing Stokies. Let's hope for better times, in the new year.

Monica dont know if this helps but Fred was always with Stuart Ralphs at the match.
Fred worked tirelessly for the Academy looking for the next player to come through. A top top man who will be sorely missed.
RIP Fred you were a gent.

Worked with Fred at Cornings Stone in the 70s. A really funny guy with whom had many nights out with other lads from there. RIP fred
