We did a lot better than some Premiership teams too!
Also you can't really count Norwich because there if fcuk all to do in that part of the world.
Watfords attendances are quite low, does anyone know what they averaged last season compared to this? Might give us an idea how ours might be if we go up.

I was just sifting through the BBC match reports and started to notice we got more in that WBA, Sheff Wed, Palace v Wolves and a midlands derby at Coventry. I'm guessing Ipswich brought no more than 2,000 which means that is a bloody fantastic turnout from Stoke. Superb effort, long may it continue

I'd say Ipswich brought about 1,200-1,500, whoever said they brought 2,000

I guessed that they wouldn't have more any more than 2000 on the grounds that i have never seen them bring more than 2000 as far as i can remember.

Those last 3 games at home have done us the world of good. It may have seemed daft to switch the Scunthorpe game and make em play 3 in a week but its not half worked out for the best. A good friend of mine decided to head down for the Southampton game, he's not made the effort for a good while, choosing to play instead of watching, but he has always joined me down there when I come home. He went down with a couple of mates which by Saturday had turned into 10 of em and he called me to tell me it was just like the fun we had in the late 80's. This group will now be watching every home game and cheering the lads on to the premiership. The BOGOF deal, the show put on by the lads and the Britannia tickets will hopefully have done the same to thousands of others who for one reason or another have chosen not to attend for a few years
