I've aquired a Xbox 360 but it has this ring of death problem with the red light showing.
Is it cheap to put right?

i have opened mine up, but its now fucked. a week after ;D im still sending it to microsoft, all they will do if they dont repair it is send it back
you have 3 years warrenty with 3 red lights. hold on and ill get the link

Wrap a couple of towels over it, turn it on let it overheat. Turn it on, it SHOULD work if not do it again then it will work.
