I have it on fairly good authority that all is not well in the camp right now and hot on the heels of Kitson's bust up with Reid, a similar dispute took place during Friday's training session.
It would appear that several of our squad were involved in punch up that threatened to get out of hand by all accounts.
Pulis wasn't at the club on Friday and training was conducted by Peter Reid.
I know that there are several training ground lurkers who post on here, so perhaps they could shed some light.
If true, I suspect that rumours of frustration and anger in the camp could well be true...If they are, then they need nipping in the bud right now before it undermines that spirit that has been fostered over this last 2 seasons.

Well if the story about Kitson being off to Boro are true then obviously the club is nipping it in the bud before it escalates. Who were the players involved in the punch up - surely your source knows?

It was actually over the treatment of an Academy player and it got a bit out of hand.
I was told who was involved Lakeland but am not at liberty to say...I have said as much as I can. It may not be true but equally it may well be...I have no reason to doubt the guy that told me though.
Hopefully apologies have been made and everyone has moved on. I am sure that these things happen on training grounds up and down the country every week.

Bringing in a gobby scouse 'character' like Reid was always going to upset a tight knit group. Hopefully just handbags.

If you are going to mention it then I don't see why you shouldn't mention the players involved.
Do the Academy train with the first team when there is an Academy match the following day? I know the Academy match was postponed but that was after training finished, I think.

You may be right March...lets hope so.
The closer a group are, I would say it probably increases the liklihood of such things happening, particularly in sport when tensions often run high, even in training.
It is still not good to hear and you just hope, as with the West Ham spat last year, that it is put to bed as quickly as it happened in the first place.

Otherwise they have a nasty habit of festering. Perhaps PR was playing a practice match of First 11 vs Wanabee 11. I could see that getting a little tasty ;D

I once remember watching our first team take on the reserves and fringe players in a practice match at Newcastle Towns ground during Gudjon's reign.
Stefan Thordarson took the piss out (football wise) out of Nicky Mohan all half before Mohan proceeded to whack him waist high. A little shoving followed but the game continued.
Thordarson got the ball, popped it through Mohan's legs and whacked one straight into the top corner reminiscent of his strike v Charlton. Thordarson obviously said something and all hell broke loose.
It really was a sight to behold.

I am not teasing, but was simply asked not to mention the main pretagonists should I discuss it with anyone.
Hence I haven't mentioned them.
Sorry if that upsets you.

There was a riot at the training ground last year. Sky Sports News reported it. Bassically Abdoulaye and James Beattie decided to ATTACK Lenny with SNOWBALLS. They were grinning when doing, and poor liam was in tears.
It happens.
