Beattie highlighted the fact that we have 1.5 points per game so far, a season projection of 55 points. last season 55 points would have given us 7th spot. I'd be well happy with 7th and guess most others would, wouldn't they? Beattie: "I think we'll be quite happy with the start we've had and I think 16 points at this stage is around a point and a half a game," he said. "That would give us around 55 points which I'm sure the gaffer and the lads would be happy with." www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_5692118,00.html

I'd be over the moon with 55 points. Let's get past that 40 mark first though.

I reckon it will be similar to last season.

To be honest I would trade a few of those points for a more adventurous approach to games...thats assuming if we ditched 3 defensive midfield players we wouldn't win the game.

At the moment we've got 16 points from 12 games - that gives 1.33 points/game - which would be just over 50 points if we carried on the same.
50 points would do me.

Don't want to put a dampener on things, but lets take one game at a time, eh?
The next absolutely game is crucial for us, because after then we have a tough set of fixtures coming up.

55 points would be brilliant. But last season demonstrated how predictions could be miles out. Paddy Power wasn't alone in thinking we were doomed from the off and I bet there weren't many betting on Newcastle and Boro to go down, with us and Hull staying up.

Come on Billy. Nobody on here seriously expects us to get that. What silly cunt/cunts would talk about getting a European spot half way through the season.
