Thought he was gonna step up a league?
Oh well, should do him good anyway.

More good experience for him, I'm sure he'll start most of their games. Good luck Ben!

Thought he was gonna step up a league? Oh well, should do him good anyway. Perhaps the recall from Northampton was more to do with their not starting him in games recently, and maybe Cheltenham have undertake to do so. He does sound an exciting prospect. What about this Lund dude? Is he as good?

He'll be pitched into a relegation battle - they have not won in the last 8 games. Still, he should be able to make an instant impact! ;D

The new manager down there was using him as an impact sub as he was more focused on not conceding so he wasn't getting the game time

Thats one place Cheltenham have a big advantage as Anthony Pulis is taking Lincolns corners

Marshall is down as the key man on Sky Sports, been fouled a few times already so thats probably how they've decided to deal with him

Thats one place Cheltenham have a big advantage as Anthony Pulis is taking Lincolns corners How ironic. I disticnctly remember a popular poster famous for his chilling statistics and selective support of the club using a corner from Young Ant from which we scored (Southampton away) as proof positive said Pulis offspring was a top quality player. Step forward AGSF! ;D

Can he play for us? Can't a player only play for 2 clubs in a season? Or doesn't this count?

I don't think loan moves count

But the whole Tuncay moving out on loan theory was scuppered because we all think he wouldn't be able to play.

I've checked the FA, FIFA and Premier League rules and the rule is that a players registration can only be transferred during a transfer window, a registration can only be be transferred once in a transfer window and a player cannot be registered to three clubs in one period.
So, after a bit of jigsaw work, That would mean to me that loans don't count and its only permanent clubs, when the players registration is held by the club playing him, that count towards the two clubs in a season.

Cheers Dan. So Tuncay could play for another club on loan but not on a permanent trasfer. Thank God he almost certainly confirmed himself in the manager's plans for the season on Saturday!
