Funny how everyone seems to think Fergie 'runs football' or some other such shite, yet he's the only manager to ever receive a touchline ban for post game comments. Twice now, as well.
Kind of blows Rafa's 'FACHTS' out of the water, doesn't it?

I'd have felt the death penalty to be a tad lenient.

Fergusson's the one who thinks he's above the rules of the game.

Fergusson's the one who thinks he's above the rules of the game. Why? What rules has he broken?

But is it fair that he is singled out? He's not the first person and only person to speak out about referees. And why is everyone (fans/pundits/journalists/ex referee's) allowed to criticise referee's except for the people who really matter (players/managers)?

Fans pay x amount of pounds per week to follow their team, I think having free-speech on football related matters is perfectly reasonable! And if pundits/journalists weren't giving their opinion on matters, whether it be praise or criticism, what would be the point in their jobs? For me the reason he is singled out is quite simple, because he seems to be the only one who persists in complaining about officials, when the reality is his team get more than the rub of the green on a weekly basis!

Nonsense. Why wasn't Allardyce reprimanded a few weeks back when he called for Peter Walton to be sacked? Please answer me that question.

Well bacon nose pleaded guilty to the charge so he thinks it was fair enough, so what's your problem?

It just goes to show that the footballing authorities will react only upon media hysteria.

Ferguson is lucky, Wiley could have taken him to court for what he said.

Fergie makes judgements concerning the decisions of the referee every week and is never banned.
He took it one step further and questioned the fitness of a referee, which was petulant and ill mannered to say the least.

Ferguson blames the ref EVERY time the Shit lose. I must have imagined him saying United deserved to be beat by Liverpool the other week then. Same with Barcelona in Rome.

I've said this numerous times if the refs have the guts to stand up and retort in a similar manner then this kind of incident would be nipped in the bud. FFs they are grown men and if Fergie tells Wiley hes fat and unfit then he should simply tell Fergie he is a whiskey drinking, red nosed, alcoholic jock. That would be the end of it. These refs need to man up a bit its pathetic ffs.

He should have been made to referee Peterboroughs next two away games.

Disappointed, big deal two match touchline ban and a week's pocketmoney. The blue nosed twat should be strung up by his balls.
