Could cost us big time.
A monumental error of judgement for me.
A substitute being substituted is the most humiliating thing in football, all managers and players know it. Truly embarrassing.
And the thing is , it made no footballing sense, Whitehead and Delap were knackered and Tuncay gave us some energy that we needed.
Shocking management.
I have lost all respect for the manager today.
We got beaten by an awful Hull team today. It was a gift.

We're all managers, as we're all football fans, and anyone who is anyone knows that in that situation, you just reshuffle your team surely?
Put Huth into central defence, and move Rory to right back, you don't take off one of the strikers you've only just brought on.
It just seemed so ludicrous.

I think we all need to show a little maturity and put today's result into perspective.
Yes we don't agree with Tone taking Tuncay off, but to say you've lost all respect for the man that took us from the middle of the Championship to ninth in the Premier League on the back of it is just petty and small.

Kitson should have gone off.
Still no need for Tuncay's reaction.
Subbing a sub is only a problem when you are at full strength. Rejigging the pack because of a sending off is a different matter.

Didn,t make sense at the time and doesn,t now. Tunc had energy which is especially important when down to 10 men.Surely, Whitehead was doing fuck all anyway,so to bring him off,swich Delap into the centre,bring on Wilko and move Huth over.Absolutely no need to humiliate anyone!!  |

when you are down to 10 men, you dont sub your freshest player, especially as he could have filled any of the midfield roles, they all looked tired and kitson could have held the ball up for tuncay to join him, crap decision imo

TP must have remembered the Chelsea game, where Tucnay came on, lost the ball everytime and put our defence under constant pressure (which ended with them getting the winner)

Yes crap decision, but really it's not that the cost us the match as people are making out. If they hadn't gone on to score there'd probably be one small thread questioning it and that would be it.

I`m sure if Tuncay had of made the impact he`s supposedly worthy of then he would of been left on??? As he didn`t he was taken off. Wasn`t any point in taking Kitson off,he did more than Tuncay did!!

You need to know how to use it first. Smell the coffee, this club is not going to go forward with the likes of Whitehead and Delap hoofing it, and pissing around on our 18 yard line. |

Players get substituted all the time. This was not a normal substitution as our best player had just been sent off when we were hanging on for a point away from home with a couple of minutes left. This was a substitution for the good of team. The only problem is that we have a player who seems to think he is bigger than our beloved club. All of this mischief making shows no one in a good light. |

Every sensible Stoke fan WILL support Pulis to the hilt unless it doesnt make sense to do it........Today is that day. I dont mind Delap on the wing Vs top four sides due to the extra defensive qualities but Vs Wolves and Hull? Absolute folly and he deserves the shit he is getting after today. |

It's actually quite sad and depressing to think that there are some fans who think that Tuncay has been given ample opportunity to show what he's made of in the brief appearances he's made to date.
Any player needs a decent run to show their true worth to any team. Over the past couple of seasons plenty of our players have shown what a good contribution they can make with an extended run in the team. Delap showed it in our promotion season after many of us had written him off, and Matty Etherington is a prime example this season.
Tuncay's worth can't be judged on ten minutes here, and fifteen minutes there. Like everyone else he needs a decent run, but sadly I have my doubts that we'll see it happen.
