Apparently had to stop serving them because they were trashing the place. Any chance we'll ask them to cough up for repairs? Story comes from one of the regular bar supervisors at the Brit.

If they were serving up the same dishwater for coffee and dry, hard chips then I'm not surprised they were kicking off, cos I would have!!

I don't think it would be right to make them pay, it isn't the clubs fault and their finances are nowhere near as good as ours, so we should pay, it won't be much when compared to the millions we'll be spending this month

so all small clubs should just be expected to trash the concourse/ stand if they play away at a premier club then?
Make em pay every penny and maybe they will think twice next time.
Any trashing that goes on at football grounds is most likely witnessed by children and im sure there are less able bodied people around it. Football doesnt need this type of behaviour nor should anyone be exposed to it.

It should be an expensive game for them.
1. They should be fined for turning up late and delaying the kick off. With the weather forcast they should have stayed overnight. I don't except they could nt afford it becuase they got a good amount of prize money for winning in Round 2.
2. They should be made to pay for the damage in the away end.
3. They should be made to apologise to the kids working behind the food kiosks for the unexceptable threatening behaviour. Food kiosks that had to be closed for fear of trouble.
Before the game I thought what a great turn out for a small club. Now, I have no respect for them at all.

I think there were a few soapdodgers in the away end today- forward the bill to Fail Park, with an estimated hourly rate for the use of our training facilities attached, in case they were still interested

1750 regulars and 2225 absolute giddy weapons who came down here to ACT like proper football fans for the day.
Sang their usual giddy weapon-like songs and will probably be giving it the biggun about how they "silenced the best suport in the land" etc.
Why is their ground called KitKat Crescent? Cos if you saw their women today you will see by how they were walking you'd get at least 4 fingers in there.

They should be made to pay, the tossers.
Why did they not stay the night locally? Every focker else does.
These sheep shaggers know how rough the weather is living so close to the Pennines, and lets face it they have had as much warning as everybody else.
They have no excuse whatsoever.
Fine the bastards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The FA should ensure that York City don't receive a single penny for today's fiasco. Not arriving on time is a disgrace in this day and age and if they have caused damage to the ground we should take out the repairs as a part of the costs for today's match.

Plus on our concourse what can they smash up?A bit of concrete and the metal grill that come down over the counters.(If the staff have the wherewithal to actually pull down the grill.)

Apparently had to stop serving them because they were trashing the place. Any chance we'll ask them to cough up for repairs? I'd fully expect we would pay. We did for the damage at Halifax about three years ago: (Hilarious video....Craig Farrell lost his feet. Some kids got overexcited. One lad falls over at the most appropiate time as if he's been shot. Video is from Halifax's coverage....) On that occasion, the club offered to pay before Halifax even complained. I have not heard of any trouble other than the incident after we scored, which was Port Vale scum trying to get on the pitch, and one incident with a York fan and a steward at half time. So I haven't seen this confirmed. IF true, then that would be very sad, and I would expect us to pay, no question. We have a family of York fans running the club (the McGills). They are the types that would be ashamed of this, if true.

There were (uncoroborated) reports of some trouble from a small group of York fans during the morning in Wetherspoons in Newcastle - anyone else hear that?
P.S. - Very poor taste in pubs it has to be said!

P.S. - Very poor taste in pubs it has to be said! Untrue. I was in there when the coaches pulled up along with 5 police cars, a dog handler and a riot van. They had a few drinks and left to go round the town. No trouble due to amount of police but the locals in the pub didn't want them there as they were obviously some of their lads.
