Can't believe there isn't a top 6 club in this country that wouldn't even take him for 8m even if he only played in cup games as a squad player. Do they know something we don't, or just dont fancy him. Like I said, all very strange. Stoke City offer star man new deal to ward off rivals Stoke City are to offer in demand midfielder Steven N’Zonzi a new and improved contract, according to the Daily Mail. Premier League trio Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion and West Ham United are said to be interested in the 26-year old, whilst Sevilla and Leicester City have both made offers. N’Zonzi has just one year remaining on his current deal at Stoke City and is wanting out of the Brittania. The Potters risk losing the former Blackburn Rovers man on a free transfer next summer, and may have to accept an offer from the highest bidder. Leicester City made a £7 million bid for N’Zonzi last week, whilst the likes of Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion, West Ham United and La Liga outfit Sevilla are all monitoring the situation. Mark Hughes is understood to be desperate to keep hold of his star midfielder, and whilst no details of the offer have been reported, it is believed that it will include a substantial wage rise. Whether this is enough to keep N’Zonzi at the Brittania is yet to be seen. The Frenchman is believed to be desperate for European football, something he may struggle to experience whilst at Stoke City. The likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur had previously been linked with a move, however that now seems unlikely.

Seems Spurs are being linked with everyone as well then. You only have to look at Liverpool signing that player who is less effective than Joselu and us signing Joselu to see the media know the square root of bugger all. A lot that have been linked with are at the lower end of the market ,wonder if the purse stings have been tightened after all the incoming transfer fuckups.

What move? The only reports so far is that N'zonzi isn't committing himself to a contract extension at Stoke at the moment. Unless a decent offer comes in for him and Stoke accept it, then he's not going anywhere. I contacted Sky bet for prices for Nzonzi transfer. They got back to me to say prices are now online,The only prices they have put on are Leicester 4/6 and Sevilla 11/8 or 2/1 to stay at Stoke .Wonder if he will be going no where.

I agree with the above. My guess is that he could end at Spurs once all the big transfers are done. De Gea to Real, Lloris to Utd, Bego to Spurs. Cant see any reason he would go to Villa unless Stoke want to cash in now to avoid the Bosman. Stoke will take any bid above £8mill as they don't want him to leave for nothing if the merry go round does not happen soon he will go Villa if they meet that £8mill valuation. Note £10 quoted is so we get the £8mil we want Chelsea are back to 4/7 on and villa out to 4/1.

If the rumours are true that Moses doesn't want to be a part of the Bego deal, could we hope for £8M + Remy on loan for a year? Cant see Remy looking at Stoke mate to be honest You are right mate said did not want to leave London.

Alan Nixon @reluctantnickoAny truth to the rumor that Liverpool has offered Konoplyanka £140k/week? That would wrap this whole thing up, yeah?I'm trying hard not to swear at this point. apparently Newcastle have offered 100k now ???????? Yeah, yeah...... There's one major factor and always has been. Stoke's offer won't be beaten legally. Maybe the penny has dropped when the signing is concluded (one way or another) will you publish what our offer was?Giving that some serious thought. U wont believe it anyway Nixons going to be putting a Restraining order on yer .

If true then this is the news I've been dreading most this summer. Moses would be a fantastic signing, we really need to continue to sell the club to him.
To coin a phrase 'why do we want someone who doesn't want to play for us...?'
Another marked down for a Danny Rose welcome when he comes back the sick note diving c#nt.

Will he really? Only if he's happy sitting on his arse warming the bench.
Once his contract is up at Chelsea he won't get any suitors from the top 6 at best. So he can sit on his arse all he wants at Chelsea and watch his career dwindle away. A move to Stoke would be his best option. He's being a bit deluded if he thinks he's better than that. Always though when he's been injured he could not wait to get back to London. The last match he played for us he limped off and got to the tunnel then walked ok.I think hes not bothered about game time its just the cash.

Skybet suspend betting on Kono's next club Strange. That normally means a big bet has gone in, but hard to tell if it means the same in these daft markets. You are Right there Looker ,could be the other way with sevilla odds going out some one could have lumped on them.Just hope its going our way.

6/4 Sevilla now 4/6. Weren't they 1/5 earlier today? Hopefully people aren't betting on Stoke just because of what Warren Haughton has said. You are right mate at one point it was 6/1 on.

Is this tweet something new? Or is it just what Warren Haughton was saying from a couple of weeks ago? Presumbly he's repeated it today on Talksport? Hopefully he's still in whatever loop there is. But he may be relying on old news for all we know? The 'completed medical/agreed terms/wants to play in England' lines have been out there for weeks and he's still not signed. He,s just been on Hand J today said what he said before terms ,medical and wages sorted just have to get him out of Ukraine .That could be the hard part.

It might be better news than we think , if there was a stand out deal on the table he may have jumped at it before now Depends how much pressure he is under to take the 3rd party deal.

Why are liverpool leaving it so late. Probably their interest in Konoplyanka depends upon selling Sterling. Said this early in the tread that as long as the STerling thing drags on we have a chance,if the deal gets done soon we are fucked.

Liverpool are still 12/1. I'm putting a tenner on that. EDIT - Just placed it on Sky Bet. 13/1. Easy money, surely? I've joined you on that Edit - Just checked the odds after I put a tenner on, and the odds have halved from 12s to 6 lol the price was 8/1 in the week so the price is going out.
