They’ll be here in there thousands & why wouldn’t they be for such a big game in their recent history. We’ll have a decent turn out around the city as well for a bank holiday weekend especially if the weather is hot. They’ll probably come & enjoy the day but if they try & take the piss here I can’t see our lot standing back & taking it. Not saying anything will go off just probably the normal pavement mincing & 2 sets of fans being separated by a line of riot police similar to when they played the Vale the other season.

Station Hotel outside the Station funnily enough is the Away pub. However, the majority of Ipswich fans are very welcoming to most supporters (except Norwich & certain Yorkshire clubs) so try Issacs on the quay (5-10 minute walk from the station & about the same to the ground after) is a great location especially if the weather is dry. Beautiful location by the marina with a large courtyard showing the early kick off on large screens. Stadium is a mixture of old & new with statues of Sir Bobby Robson & Sir Stanley Matthews situated outside.

Ipswich manager Paul Hurst has pretty much indicated that Collins will be signing for somebody else at 9.21 on this video. Surely for Stoke www.twtd.co.uk/livecam/52

Got ejected from St Andrews back in the noughties & have hated them & their constabulary ever since. Fans are the filthiest scrotes in the football league. They'll no doubt turn up at Stoke station thinking that they own the place so should be a tasty day. Give me this over a sanitised home game with Watford or Brighton any day!!!

Ipswich fan / Potters Season Ticket holder here. Jonas Knudsen would certainly do a job for Stoke this season. He was signed by McCarthy & has been drilled to play the McCarthy way. He's a very solid defender who has been playing as either a left sided center half in a back 3, or most commonly as a left back in a back 4. When he arrived he was criticized for making the odd mistake, but has since grown in consistency & become a very decent & versatile player (similar to Erik Pieters) He's not got lightning pace, but is quick enough, & has the potential to adapt to Rowett's style of play & become even better as he comes in to his prime years. He has certainly been getting forward more of late & has chipped in with a few goals during his time at Ipswich. 2 of those were against Norwich in derby games so he clearly has the potential to be a big game player if you also take in to account the World Cup game against Croatia, as this was only his 4th game for Denmark. 1 thing I do know is that he'd give his all for the club & is very passionate/loyal. He's quite similar in attitude to Bauer & I think Stokies would take to him very quickly. Also for those that are skeptical that he's not a name people have heard of. I'd like to point out that I bet a few were scratching their heads when Jon Walters left Ipswich for Stoke, & that didn't work out too bad. Thanks a lot for that. A very good summary from someone who has obviously seen him play. What kind of fee, if any, has been mooted in and around Ipswich circles? Town fans are a realistic bunch & a fee of just over £1 million with a promotion top up should clinch it due to his contract (although I believe Town have got an option on him for an extra year) But for whatever reason I don't think Hurst fancies it & wants to bring in his own players. I'd be more than happy to see Knudsen applauding us down the Boothen End next season to a chorus of 'we love ya city'

Thought I was hearing things at 1st but it was unmistakable Stokies. Goarrrnn boys! With it being in Manchester, thought it would be Citeh fans singing that dreadful version, but cocked my ear to the TV and heard "...I put my dick in her hand..." Yes, Yes! 😂 That line was what sealed it for me as well

Could be 5 sets of top flight league champions in my supporting lifetime in with us in the Championship then: Leeds, Blackburn, Derby, Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa. And Forest and Villa are both European Champions and Leeds United European finalists. If you strip the top 6 out of the Prem and compare the remaining 14 clubs with the largest 14 clubs in the championship then the championship has more potential big hitters. Ipswich UEFA Cup winners as well. Boro & Fulham UEFA Cup finalists.

Steer well clear. His football makes Pulis look like Guardiola. Town fans are notoriously patient, but even they've had enough of 'Big Mick' & his anti football. If Stoke want to set up at home for a point against Barnsley next year then he'd be a great appointment.

Boils my piss this does, another foreign money grabbing mercenary to add to the list of players on the books. Jese & this little spunk knuckle is everything I hate about modern football!!!
Our board clearly need to be doing due diligence on future signings, so we don't end up with over half our pathetic squad downing tools because they're in a relegation scrap. Ban them from social media as well the useless self obsessed scum bags!

At 6ft 4 & 17 stone I pray every game that the single seat next to me in Block 19 isn't sold.
On the occasions that it is then the bloke in fronts moon shaped head makes for a very comfortable foot rest.

Fuck the BBC. Why was our game basically on mute & the Burnley v Utd game nice & loud. Shit coverage as well! That 'mute' thing is really weird, it has always been the case even in TP's day when the place would properly rock it still sounded 'mute' on TV. Placement of the mic's, adjustment on the mic's, mic type? I don't know but the TV sound is always somewhere between flat and non existent at the Brit/Bet365. Yeah the mic placement would be my guess as well. Videos on YouTube show otherwise the Delilah video after the 1st goal especially. Great noise!

Should keep his massive hooter out of our business. Easy for him to criticise managers who have failed in their jobs whilst he sits in his ivory tower as a radio pundit. Best place for the ugly prick!

F***ing little rat. Never forget the way he spent all afternoon on the deck & then celebrated in front of the Boothen last season. Feel for him over his personal issues massively but as a person I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire! I do know what his ‘personal issues’ are but everyone has or has had personal issues at some time or other. Still doesn’t excuse him for breathing the same air as decent people. No I agree with you. The blokes a waste of skin & needs a good hiding.

Kids are the future and all that but I've maintained for a while it's a major reason why the atmosphere is on its arse. most of them don't seem interested in the game half the time. If we relayed the game onto their mobiles and ipads they wouldn't miss a minute! This x 100!

We don't have the pace for that system & our full backs get overrun time & time again. That happens anyway. Why sit back and play to our own weaknesses? We have the attacking talent to win games, Hughes is just too scared to use it. It worked in the past, and we kept a lot of clean sheets. Unless you think a back 4 of Johnson Shawcross Wollscheid Pieters is better than what we have now. I just don't think we have the personnel to play the system we do now. It works for teams with pace who can break quickly. We lump the ball up to Crouch & get players around him only to get caught on the break time & time again. I do agree that our defence now is better than that defence though.

442 doesn't work. We don't have any creative strikers, it wastes our only decent attacker and we don't have the midfield for it. The only formation that has worked for Hughes is an attacking 4231. We don't have the pace for that system & our full backs get overrun time & time again.
