Pundits. What a load of rubbish. Luton scored a good goal. What are players supposed to do? Move out of the goal keepers way?

Some geography must come into it. I know a few Derby fans in the Uttoxeter area who violently despise us whilst I am sure many Derbyfans living near Nottingham or Leicester for example probably never give us a second thought.

We're the middle We're the middle We're the middle of the Boothen End We all live in the back of Boothen End, Back of Boothen end .......... I am pretty sure I was there, in the Boothen, when that was first sung. It was at the height of Beatlemania and I had not missed a match for a long time when it started and immediately caught on. I recall as it spread eventually the entire end joined in and at the end the whole ground applauded. A very special memory. At the same time we had the well remembered Zigger Zagger π

Just had a look. Seems OK but another version of the Oatcake.
As long as it does not detract from or cause damage to this forum good luck to them.
Should I join what would I call myself?π¬
EDIT. On further reflection I think I will not bother. Stay here better the Devil's you know.

Surprised to hear that we are prepared/would like to let Baker go. When on form he is more than good enough and was looking to be getting back to his form last time out.β

Sadly the modern technology of social media has bought about the demise of the local newspaper as we knew it. I recall when the only way of getting news about SCFC was the Sentinel and Letters to the Editor. Now we have the Oatcake and numerous other sources β

He came out for the 2nd half, took his position and then bizarrely was subbed as the game was about to restart. I'm sure it was his 800th game or something as well....... Spot on and him and Ferguson giggling away was everything thatβs so dispicable about Ferguson specially and that vile institution in general may both their misery be infinite and computing by the day . It is alleged that the referee spoke to Ferguson at half time and told him he should have been sent off and suggested that it would be wise to sub him. If true it's a disgrace. The foul(a blatant bad one) was on Ethrington who had been ripping Neville apart all the first half.

I occasionally try a thin spread of mustard under the cheese.
Must admit I have started to microwave them recently.
Always have cheese and tomatoes on matchdaysβ

I seem to remember that in the late 60s early 70s the Bothen was 2/6d in old money?
It was always packed with home and away fans.

Even though we don't get many I was surprised that there had to be a debate about who was going to take the penalty. Surely there should be a designated pen taker.
Relieved that Baker eventually took it.
However a debate/dispute like this could easily unnerve a player prior to the kick and even potentially cause I'll feeling between players and within the squad. Especially if it is missed!β

I remember Sterling playing for Liverpool diving immediately in front of me and he got a pen. Never forgiven him.π₯Ά Ruined a great game Was the lino who signalled it...horrible dive . Was it Marc Wilson ? The only thing I recall was that it was a midweek game. I took a Liverpool supporting mate with me and I think he was embarrassed β

are you trying to break the news to us gently that you might have been to the island and your name might pop up on the list? Tom Hanks Donald Trump Bill Gates Raythesailor King Charles Prince Andrew John Major you get the idea! made me chuckle raythesailor To the best of my knowledge no Stokies ever visited Pineapple and Kiwi fruit were on the breakfast menu, no oatcakes.πβ The island is a private island part of the US Virgin Isles and was the patrolled By armed guards and no landing was allowed. I don't think they were to happy about boats anchoring a short distance off but they could do little about it.

Having sailed extensively in the British Virgin Isles I have often anchored off what is known locally as Love Island. At the time I had never heard of Epstein but it was common knowledge that all sorts of "celebrities" visited often arriving in private jets and wild goings on were well known rumours.β
EDIT. If you accidently like your own post how do you get rid of it? It keeps happening to meπ

Used to be and still occasionally am a regular listener. Originally broadcast at ungodly hours unless you are a fisherman orsailor waiting for the tide. The most important one for many was at 0030 preceded By music entitled "Sailing By". The music was so relaxing that many mariners often fell asleep and missed the forecast they had been waiting for all night. My favourite phrase(probably because it was my cruising area) :Thames, Dover, Wight and Plymouth, including the Isles of Scilly. ββ Do they still play Sailing By? Not sure Joe as I rarely listen in at half past midnight Nowadays people just Google it or have apps on the phone. I still find looking up the shipping forecast can give me a good indication of the weather to come here in Mid Staffordshire.πβ

A lot of debate about the sending off. What about his first yellow card.? I felt it was a bit harsh. A fifty/fifty ball that neither player drew out of.
