Hughes fucked up with his subs and its not the first time either. Soon as they scored he should have sent 2 or 3 on.
Sobhi in the 92nd?!?! Fucking ridiculous.

Anybody who doesn't think this will be nothing short of a half-arsed effort are seriously mistaken. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's not open come next season kick-off and we will ask for our first three fixtures to be played away. Why the fuck can't we start putting in a new screen in the opposite corner NOW so when the old one comes down the new one is working? We may as well do that anyway as the team never shows up til the 7th game of the season.

If the OP is suggesting that we should calmly accept the fucking shite starts to every season we get under Hughes then I fucking give up.
Why the fuck should we be the only team in the sodding league who immediately writes off the first 6 games of every season?!?!?!?
And the "but we get better towards the end of the season when other teams are getting tired" theory went out of the window last time round.
Fucking sort it out Sparky!

I think some are getting ahead of themselves after a couple of draws. The performance was better but still not great against West Scrummage, and were it not for Grant playing a blinder it could have easily been another drubbing against ManU.
All the Ostriches crowing "Where are the knicker wetters now!", after a fortunate draw precipitated by a heroic goal keeping effort, rather than a solid team performance, is more than a little absurd.
Just as Butland papered over the cracks for a large part of last season, so did Grant on Sunday. However with all due respect to Grant, he isn't the keeper Butland is, and he can't be relied upon to perform like that every week.

We were better yesterday, true, but it couldn't get much worse, and we weren't exactly convincing in the end against a poor WBA side. Against a decent team it could have been another dicking. Hughes will get more time but I don't think he knows how to fix the problems.
AVB for me. Good win percentages in his last 2 jobs and we have a chance of getting him.

Vile disgusting negative people with no class and no understanding of the game. Instant reward, ungrateful for where we are and what we've achieved, ADD instant gratification generation or just plain braindead ignorant MORONS. Unfortunately a majority of football fans are like that these days. I always thought Stoke fans were a cut above. For a few years in the Prem we were, but the last few seasons seems to have brought a different mindset to the club. They disgust me. They're not what this club is all about. Some of the things said about PC, MH etc are just the vile sickening gruntings of amoebas and plankton.Really? Only one person making themselves sound like a moron in that post.

Time for hughes face the truth. Every one is fit (ok walters a bit injured) and available. So he has the team and players he wanted. If he lose today he is definitly crap and can not motivate the players. Looks like he has no ambition to be on the top and he is a 9. Place coach and happy to achieve that. Hughes please prove me wrong today and if the players will fight for you on the pitch today then i see hope...if you lose today i lost hope with you because you had everthing to have a top team but you have maybe no clue how to bring out the best of each player. Please let play the best and not the ones who you know the longest. Sobbi must play. After you lose you need a change. Shaq on the 10. He will bring the confidence back with his passing. Imbula is worldclass but hughes don't understand how to bring the best out of him. Allen is superb and if somebody thinks thoose players are not good they have no clue of football. Hughes is responsible because they play his style and it does not work until now. Stoke has now very good expensive players and if they pkay still like the last 5 games hughes is responsible. Shay is not premier league level anymore. Johnson shawcross indi pieters Imbulla allen Shaqiri Bijan (sobbi) arnie Bony This team would rip apart the premier league but i fear maybe huges brings crouch and all his mates who stay with him ages...for my is the last chance hughes can prove me wrong when i thin he is just a normal coach and not a special one...i hope he prove me wrong today but this i said many times...for me LAST CHANCE Butland? Afellay? Ireland? Long term injuries we knew about before the transfer window even opened.

Putting aside some catastrophic "incident" that may have occurred in the dressing room which has poisoned the team, Coates summed up this season so far. I agreed with what he said. If we really have had "an incident", which has been mentioned on here, and then quickly brushed over by the poster, then we have big problems. Boro - played ok. Everton - played ok. Man City - played ok'ish, beaten by a far better team. Spurs - first half was ok, then disaster Palace - disaster. For myself - one and a half matches shouldn't condemn a manager. So over the first 5 games of this season we've got steadily worse then.

I'm in the out camp after today, that was a team that has an irreparable relationship with the manager, absolutely no manager in the football pyramid could survive this run of results. Fair play. I wholeheartedly agree.

Sparky has already lost the players, after today I think he's lost a lot of the fans as well. It could turn nasty when their first goal goes in.

Its the one we omitted to use in all of the games since last Xmas. I think that they have got it out of their toybox because they are under a bit (no- a lot) of pressure If the 'since last xmas' stuff gets repeated enough there's a chance that'll pass from myth into legend. I'm not savvy enough to post it on here but have a look at our results from Dec 25th last year. You'll see we drew with Arsenal and Chelsea and we had those Liverpool Cup games, as well as some proper grinders against Villa and Newcastle and a couple of thrapings of Watford and Norwich. And the Everton 4-3 thriller. But everyone of us should be aware of that. We havn't been as good at home which is frustrating, that's a huge debate in itself. It wasn't perfect, by any stretch. The FA Cup thing against Palace was disappointing and we had several humiliations, it all kind of fizzled out. There were loads of mitigating factors that have been replayed on here time and time, but I understand that it's passion for the Club that leads to all this unbridled criticism. We got thrashed because we're a good team who generally approach games without fear, we go out to win, we get dicked because of it but we also beat Man U and Man City and beat Chelsea twice as a result of it. It's worth having a look through that post xmas games you're critical of. Football at this level often comes down to the marginals, and I do think there's been times when that confidence has tipped to over arrogance and complacency. A team will often reflect the character of the man at the helm, Hughes was full of ambition, individual skill, selfishness, and arrogance. Things aren't perfect, it's an ongoing process of players in and out of form etc, in that regard we're in a bit of a mess undeniably. I saw on the Club site a video discussing our approach to injuries. Buzz phrase was "We treat every injury as avoidable, analyse the causes and do all we can to eliminate them." We underestimate what does go on behind the scenes. I think that the exiting of both Cups, the injuries, the distraction of the Euros etc lead to a drift, complacency. We weren't going down or up. They perhaps lost that focus, crucial when it comes down to marginals, and also resulted in Imbula not getting a proper intro into the team. They'd got the foot off the pedal. Perhaps unacceptable, perhaps not even intentional. We were 7th at xmas. Having beat Chelsea, Man U and M City. We still finished Top Ten. {As we all know.} Maybe by our fingernails but it could have been worse. To me shit ain't that bad, I've been critical of Hughes, there's stuff to improve, I reckon some of that arrogance has lead to them ignoring nogger 'nuts & bolts',, set pieces and all that etc.. no doubt.... but there's definite signs for me that shit is being addressed. The purchases {on paper so far} strengthen the spine. A Magi couldn't have foretold Jack's predicament and got world class cover for two months {I'll give them that.} And now they're talking to us. Reassuring us that things are happening....... Anyway all of that is just blathering on. Mark Hughes and his team and the players have felt the power of the Potters crowd, backed up by Sir Peter they've opened up the lines of communication. They're telling us what they're doing. I reckon rather than booing Arnie we ought to channel that power positively. We should resurrect 'We Are The People' One of me faves. Cheap shot, but here we go, time for a remix. We have won 2 of the last 14 games and taken 9 from 42 points. Sparky is a lucky boy that the summer has broken up this run otherwise he might have a much closer view of the barrel than he currently has.

We should have bust a gut to sign De Gea or Cech to cover for Jack. I reckon we could have got De Gea. Coates could have sounded out our old mate Jonny Rudge who could have got his big pal Sir Alex to pull strings...... Wow, I'm almost speechless.

Can you solve this riddle? Mark is the manager of scfc marks team conceeds goals so what do you do? marks team cant score goals so what do you do? mark has spent very good money, got the players wanted and neither of the above changes so what do you do next? A) persist with mark B) blame the players C) change the manager D) You are a dick Ahh, blatant abuse. The last refuge of a stunted mind.

This is a squad game. There will always be injuries and that's the reason we have a squad. If the squad isn't good enough then we all know where the fault lies.

Go on then which is incorrect the names or the fact the list exist Mark and his team have the full support of the owners. Unlike some on here the owners are well aware of the issues Mark is facing at the moment. I don't care what the "issues" are that Mark and his team are facing. If results don't improve at some point we'll be looking at the Championship, and sure as shite the owners won't be supporting that.
