Dont get me wrong you can't beat a packed house, but was sat in front of a guy today in block 29 who had obviously never set foot in the brit before! A couple of his questions to the guy next to him were 'Which black one up front is fuller?' 'Why are they singing Delilah?' 'Why has he took a forward off and put another midfielder on?' 'Why is there a big gap in the away end with empty seats?' And thats just the ones I can remember

maybe someone taking a non-Stoke mate to the game. I've taken several mates to see Stoke in the past who aint Stoke supporters. The more the merrier for me

You can never have too many supporters It sounds like he's gone with a Stoke-supporting mate and was taking an interest. Let's hope he liked what he saw and wants to go again

Another thing that I thought was quite odd, he sat clutching a big envelope for the entire game?!?!

Frosty, my dad's a big bloke, granted, but not so big as to have Old Paddock in front of him in Block 29 when we were in Block 20! ;D

And they were leaving in the 79th minute again! I don't mind the people who look after old folks but most of these people were on their own or with people who weren't very young/very old.

MY BIGGEST GRIPE WAS PEOPLE FUCKING TRYING TO FIND A SEAT AT 5 PAST 3. JUST A TIP , IF THE GROUND IS FULL GET TO YOUR FUCKING SEAT EARLY AS IT PISSES PEOPLE OFF WHEN YOU WANDER AROUND LOOKING FOR SEAT LIKE YOU ARE BROWSING ROUND A CAR BASTARD BOOT SALE.

ONE WHO GETS TO HIS SEAT LATE IS A FUCKING PRICK! What about if they're late due to external factors? Like at Charlton away I left in good time and was heading from the south, but the main road from the M25 to the ground was down a couple of lanes due to a van catching on fire causing terrible delays. Meant that I was 25 minutes late for kick off Does this make me a 'FUCKING PRICK', even though it was not my fault?

Fair point malex, but what about the same pricks who do the same thing 10 minutes into the second half

My first game wasn't when I was in my 50's!! And another thing, I didnt sit there comparing what our players tried doing to what players can do in the Premier Leauge! ;D

My point is alls he did was ask stupid questions and if one of our players tried something that didnt work he would just says something sarcy like 'someone thinks hes Ronaldo' blah blah blah
I'd of sooner had one more empty seat and let him wank over the delights of Ronaldo etc on MOTD

With him on the question of why we were singing 'Delilah'. Heard some Season Ticket Holder wankers bemoaning the part-timers here for this game, in the bogs before kick off. Soft twats, rather have the ground half empty then? (or is that half full, as it was for the first half of the season?).

The part timers are welcome and I trust will be "full timers" for the Premiership next season. The guy with the questions - I know what you mean mate - the guy next to me asks just those questions and loads more even worse and that gets my goat because he has had the seat next to me for the past 20 years and still will not stop asking dumb questions

I took two work colleagues to the Southampton game who are both Liverpool fans who havent got a clue who any of our players are but wanted to tag along because they know theres a good atmosphere with the Stoke fans and they like to see football where theres a prospect of plenty of goals.
Perhaps I'll tell them to f off in future and not put £60 - £70 across the Stoke counter
